I've been going to Dr. minimally since he came to Roanoke Rapids. I absolutely love him and his staff. I now drive almost 2 hours to keep him as my doctor. The only reason I didn't give him a 5 for being punctual is the last 2 years I had to wait because he was delivering babies. (Not his fault he was late.)

Dr. McDonald is a wonderful doctor. He has a wonderful bedside manner and you know that he really cares about you. Unlike other doctors in this area, he does not operate on patients just for the money; he cares about their health. You can not find a much better OB/GYN.

he is very unhelpful, he has performed unnecressay surgeries. He do not go in to details reguarding your procedures. He gave me a unnecressary hysteromy and later told me that he thought it was the best to find out later i didn't need it. Make sure you have a second opinion in his office he is all about (money) not your health. Just ask anyone how many surgeries has he perform in the years sense he have been there> you would be surprised!

very sweet and caring nursing staff, Dr. Minielly very personable has delivered both of my girls and did several surgeries on me, very confident Dr. I send all my friends and loved ones to him, also is helpful for advice outside his area
