I really had a horrible experience with this doctor. Maybe he is smart and good for others. His office is professional and responds to requests. For me personally he was condescending, and didn’t believe what was going on in my body,. I got very sick, and ended up finding another doctor, who understood and treated me correctly. I am happy and healthy today. I would suggest to those with more complicated cases to seek a functional medicine doctor. M

Dr Jiukhadar is by far the smartest, most attentive physician I have met in many years. He ask, listens, runs labs and makes viable decisions. I have been type two for thirty years and this is the best care I've had to date. He actually RETURNS CALLS on the SAME DAY and is empathetic and does his best to resolve issue. I will recommend him to anyone needing a really GREAT DOC

This "doctor" is the worst I have ever experienced! He is VERY arrogant and extremely rude to his staff and patients. It's his way or the highway. He thinks he is the Almighty and knows everything yet he misdiagnosed twice. He won't listen to anything you have to say and has absolutely no campassion. How does the AMA even tolerate him is beyond me. This man has NO business handling anyone's health issues!!

This "dr" should not be in practice. loves to change medication without any lab work. AROGANT is putting it lightly. Won't help with related issues and will not listen to the patient, questions or anything. you are to be a robot when you go in.

Is this doctor on speed or what? Never in my 63 years have I seen a doc like this one. Talks too fast, is arrogant, doesn't explain what he is doing or why he is changing medications/insulin. I really can't believe anyone goes to him, I only did because my PCP referred me. I will not be going back to see him. Stating he is different kind of doc is an understatement. It is not high energy he has but either needs to take his own advice and get off the sugar or coffee or whatever he is on, too weird of doctor for my taste.

Honestly. I've had type 1 diabetes for 12 years. I've been on pens and the pump and I've been through a lot of doctors. Dr J is professional and strong. You will not get any small talk and he doesn't candy coat information or baby his patients. He will treat you like an adult who has a disease and if you don't need help you wouldn't be there. I recommend going in with an open mind and ears and listening to the doctor who knows what he's talking about. He will only ask you questions that matter and he is very organized. I was impressed with his no none sense approach. He is relatively young and he has a lot of energy and he's very knowledgable. If you like to pretend that your condition is no big deal and you like to BS about the weather and your dog, this is not your doctor. If you want to get your disease under control and trust that you're in the hands of a professional then Dr J is your doc.

This doctor is interesting. As a patient, he seems to know what he is talking about but only interested in his path of treatment, nothing outside of it and does not tolerate questions lightly. He seems to enjoy treating his patients rudely and does not tolerate long answers to his questions. He cannot seem to keep a nurse in the office, my BP/vitals and A1C were taken by the girl who collects the insurance?! The office is very sparse and the doctor does not believe in spending too much money on equipment or taking much time to examine you or ask many questions. He is on the clock and you have ten minutes, no more. He loves his colored markers haha and he treats you like you are in the first grade on your treatment plans and you get the same speech every visit. Not very impressive when you are trying to get better. I am sure he is a well trained doctor but his bedside manner is horrible and he missed that class in med school.

Rene is not everyone's cup of tea, that is definitely true, but his wealth of knowledge in all this endo can't be matched here in Las Cruces.

I've been diabetic for 16 years and nearly gave up on endocrinologists until last April when I found Rene. I was immediately advised to switch to a pump and it probably saved my life. It's amazing how in tune he is with diabetic knowledge. I describe him as human popcorn, he's extremely high strung and all over the place but he knows his s@*t.

I've met plenty of doctors with not only terrible attitudes but a seemingly ridiculous lack of medical knowledge.. give him a chance and try to make him laugh, that's what I do 😄

Berates his staff, demands you change medication with no reasoning. Does not tolerate questions. When lab results come back that contradict his initial "findings" he changes his attitude, a little.
