Dr. is very kind but does not seem to know what to do if I have more than a sore throat. I think he would be better in an orthopedic clinic as I think that is what he is interested in. His idea of a physical and mine are definitely not the same. I felt really cheated at my last physical. Time to look for someone else.

Unlike many (all) of the reviews, I had a great experience as a new patient. Received my chart notes as I left the office (so I didn't forget what was said) and felt like I had a good treatment plan. No issues with billing, and was able to be seen almost immediately. Now, having worked in health care when I was younger, I knew to kill the staff with kindness as front and back office personnel have a tendency to feel like they are the queen bees. Overall, I went to see the MD, and just needed to get past the gatekeepers unscathed...just treat the receptionists and nurse with respect and you'll have a great visit with Dr. W.

I have been going to this Doctor for a year. I can NEVER reach anyone at the office. Trying to refill prescriptions is like pull out my molars without Novocaine. I am looking for another Dr. as I write this.

Tried to schedule a wellness/physical for my husband. Was required to schedule "meet & greet". Dr. Wander then performed an actual physical with all labs and OVER charged us for total of $450. Our EOB revealed we had been overcharged $100, the office staff has repeatedly refused to return our money, claiming eachtime that it willbe six weeks from the date of our requests. It has been three months since the doctor deliberately bilked us -and it must have been deliberate since he acknowledged the visit as a meet and greet but did not try to schedule a physical at the end of the meet and greet- and no refund. his actions and those of his staff indicate their cashflow is of primary importance to them while patient health is, at best, secondary. Do not use Dr. Wander or Baylor Health Sys docs as they are all administered by same staff and same policies.

Wow, similar to another rater, Staff was not interested in setting appt for injury, only for routine bloodwork. Staff could not possibly care less about me, didn't want to hear what the injury even was, and I was very clearly seen as a bother. I'm shocked an established patient like myself would suddenly be treated so different just because now the 'issue' isn't routine bloodwork. Staff said they refuse treatment for anyone recently injured at work, a recent wreck, or any other injury caused by someone else. Even though I have good insurance to cover. In my opinion this is selfish and ethically questionable. I would have been greatfull just to be seen and referred to a specialist.

I would not recomend the Dr. or his staff to take care of my dog. The Nurse in charge rules the roost. Don't anger her or the Dr. Will tell you to see someone else. I assumed that the Dr. Would be the head of his practice. I was clearly incorrect.
