I agree with the previous comment that he's too by-the-book. He did start my first visit with an emotionality questionnaire, but wasn't present. It's his staff that ticks me off. He gives instructions to book procedures and appointments and twice in two visits they don't do it. Right now I don't know where I stand.

Dr Jo looks the part; young, good looking, Asian, smart. His attitude, however lacks any type of caring or empathy. He goes on and on about Cancer Guidelines, never once asking about patient wellness, physically or emotionally. He gives the impression of being un-willing to go outside of the box to cure you. I would never put my life in his hands. His 'by-the-book' Kaiser style makes me wonder why he chose this field in the first place. People with cancer want to pull out all the stops in order to live, and he doesn't seem to want to do that. Go at your own risk.
