I went to Dr Mendel for the first time for a routine physical and she billed it as a sick call so they billed me, whereas a physical is covered at 100%!!

She does not want to help the patient, prescribes medications that are not needed , also changed the milligram of the medication without telling the patient only known about it because the drugstore called , When I called the office I was told to just cut them in half it just doesn't seem right , now I received a letter in the mail and was told that we had a breakdown in the physician patient relationship need to find someone else .

I went to her for a routine physical and all she did was take me bloop pressure, weigh me, and ask medical questions. Then she billed my insurance for a sick call so then they billed me for $97.00, which I shouldn't have to pay anything for a physical! I really do t think she knows what she's doing!!

I recently got insurance again and going threw a divorce, moving and job change. She really sat down and listened to my concerns. I felt like she took the time to listen to me and put me on medication that has been helpful.

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH HER. SHE DOES NOT HAVE A GOOD BEDSIDE MANNER AND SHE DOES NOT WANT TO HELP HER PATIENTS

admitted to hospital her nurse practitioner so sure it was the galbladder that they admitted me when i was nauseous after 2 doses of high power pain meds.next morning when I thought I would actually meet my Dr. the first time didn't bother to show up. told by my nurse no tests were scheduled...well the dr. put 2 in on them but NEVER came in to tell me that they were scheduled or anything. 2, 3, 4 in the afternoon came still NO Dr!!!!! Family had to go ask and were told she had been in to see me!!!!! When we called bs on that then she had tried to see me but I wasn't in the room, i left once for one of the tests she scheduled. Finally they had to call her to come back to the hospital to do her job and see me. By this time I'm charged another day because my "dr" wouldn't bother to come see me and then I find out they've found NOTHING. I saw her a whole 10 minutes. She said if I can keep food down can go home, but shdidn't tell the nurse I could eat! didn't tell the nurse I could leave.

Dr. Mercer has quit 3 practices now. She is great when you actually get to see her, but most of the time she does not show up for work. I think she needs to realize that she has to see her patients in order to do her job. I wish she realized what a good Dr. she is when she is actually in the room with you. I hope she doesn't ruin her career while she is young by not getting it together and making it to work.

she quit 2 practices, Integrity Physicians, and Evansville Multispecialty Clinic before present one, at Medical Cosmetic Center. She, then quit seeing me for no reason I can find. Someone at her office said they are referring "everybody" to a clinic, which led me to believe I wasn't the only person she quit seeing. I have insurance, and did miss one appointment but no other problems.
