Biography

Dr. Sana Salih received her medical degree from University of Khartoum in Khartoum, Sudan, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her postgraduate fellowship in Human Molecular Genetics at Yale before moving to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston for her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is also certified as a High Complexity Laboratory Director. Dr. Salih conducted National Institute of Health-funded research for many years. She was funded by the T32 NRSA grant at Yale University and by the BIRCWH scholar at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has over thirty scientific papers and holds a patent on ovarian protection and fertility preservation. Before becoming a part of the RMA of Central Pennsylvania team, Dr. Salih was recognized as a 2017 Top Doctor in Morgantown, West Virginia for her achievements in medicine.
