This is the best surgeon, the staff at the Yakima clinic was very helpful, knowledgeable, as well as the Sunnyside hospital was a 10.

Dr. Atteberry did surgery on me 3/31/2012. He was supposed to put a spacer between L4 and L5. He placed it at the L3/L4 level. He pinched a nerve at the L3 level. My left leg has numbness and burning. I’ve had to take Lyrica ever since. Nothing works except name brand Lyrica. My cost with insurance is $469.00 a month. I don’t recommend him. Also, he put a hole in a muscle according to his report to place his thumb in it while he used the instrument to place the spacer in. I ended up with a hernia in my back. I had to have it repaired in Seattle because they had never seen a hernia there before. The Dr. in Seattle hadn’t either. He liked hard cases. I also had to have a double fusion the following year., he didn’t do it.

When I seen Dr Atteberry, I found him very arrogant, and rude. He wasted my time telling me what he was going to do to my back then he told me I was to old and to fat (198lbs) , and (70yrs) . I went to Seattle, got a wonderful neurosurgeon with good results.

I had a ruptured disc in my back which Dr Atteberry cut on for me. I still have some pain and weakness but he said it will get better. That was 9 months ago. He is a great listener and a really nice guy. I know he did wrong level surgery but we all make mistakes and as a Christian I was able to forgive him. None of us are perfect.

He may be great at listening and be very charming but he was disciplined by WA state for performing wrong level spine surgery. Comes up on first 2 pages of google. Come on people, you want this guy operating on your spine???? Ask around in Yakima, be smart.

Dr. Atteberry and his team were very caring, kind and professional. Most importantly my back issue was addressed by the kind of provider knows what he is doing... His spirit and confidence gave ne confidence after months of pain.

I saw Dr. Atteberry for neuropathy in my hands and feet. He formed his opinion after careful study of the MRI results and recommended that I get an EMG, but he does not think I am a candidate for surgery. I was impressed with the time he spent with me and that he did not think of cut first. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been at a loss for words that adequately express my gratitude to Dr. Atteberry and his capable surgical team. About all I can think to say is that this group of caring, capable, professionals transformed my life from debilitating pain with little mobility to virtually no pain and lots of mobility. How lucky am I and how lucky Yakima is to have Dr. Atteberry practicing in our community.
