I was very active in sports through college, suffered numerous concussions, contacted Dr. Keifer for an evaluation of long term or permanent residual damage to my brain. Worked as an Engineer, became a General Contractor, suffered a severe accident and spent 2 weeks in a coma with multiple skull fractures, severe bleeding in the brain and loss of 40% of one frontal brain lobe. Later, I developed severe, uncontrollable twitching on the entire left side of my face hindering daily functions like driving and reading. I saw numerous neurologists, they tried facial injections for a year with no positive results. I could not go to sleep, I was tired constantly, lethargic and considered brain surgery. I decided to try Brain Health Hawaii before opting for surgery. After a few weeks of treatment, the twitch in my face was gone, I am experiencing a deep, restful sleep the entire night and my energy level and clarity had returned to a level I had a decade ago.

3. Later developed severe, uncontrollable twitching on the entire left side of my face hindering my ability to drive, read plans and was jeopardizing my ability to make a living.
4. Saw numerous Neurologists, they tried facial injections for over a year with no positive results. They finally advised me to go to Stanford Medical Center for Brain Surgery.
5. I could not go to sleep, and when exhaustion finally would allow me to sleep, it was in short spans (an hour or two) and it was not a deep, restful sleep. I was tired constantly, lethargic and seriously considered the Brain Surgery and was scheduled for it in March 2020 in California.
6. I decided to try the Brain Health Center before I opted for the Brain Surgery. After consultation with Dr. Keifer, I decided to try his non-invasive approach before agreeing to more aggressive treatments.
After a few weeks of treatment, the twitch in my face was gone, I am experiencing a deep, restful sleep the entire night and my energy level and clarity in thinking had returned to a level I had a decade ago. Definitely worth exploring this alternative to regain the sleep and cognitive ability you had 10 years ago.

Dr. Keifer saved my daughters life. My daughter has been suffering from Anorexia for years. We have tried many different Doctors and types of therapy's will no success. Dr. Keifer really took his time to get to know us and understand our challenges as a family unit. He took a family therapy based approach which allowed us to experience group therapy and one on one therapy. This approach began to work immediately and allowed us to grow and support each other as a family. Since we started seeing Dr. Kiefer, my daughter is back to a healthy weight and our relationships, communication and support within my family are stronger then ever. I highly recommend Dr. Keifer.

Dr. Keifer is the best psychiatrist I have ever met. He is patient, very knowledgeable, and has a calming demeanor that puts you at ease. His staff is really helpful and efficient. I would recommend Dr. Keifer to anyone wanting to make a change in their life, and if my own children needed psychiatric help, I would not hesitate to take them to see him. Really, he is the best.

Excellent doc; he listens and clearly enjoys his job. Most importantly, for us, he was willing to help us with the problems we were having with our 7 and 12 year old kids without using medication. Highly recommend this dr.
