seems impossible to talk to staff. very aggravating to listen to the spiel and then have to leave a message that will be returned as soon as possible, After another call the recorded message said the call would be returned in 24 to 48 hours. 48 hours passed and no call. I have total confidence in the doctors but the front office situation is unacceptable.

The care was fine. If you need communication after that - your out of LUCK. Office staff takes three days - THREE DAYS - to get back to you? What in the world - are they that busy? I mean the office is always empty when I go in there.

During our in-person consult with Dr Desai, we were immediately impressed with Dr Desai's quiet mannerism, his knowledge and expertise, patience, honesty and confidence. He went over my husband's severe aortic stenosis condition, recent test results, and his need for an aortic valve replacement. He spent some time educating both of us on the actual TAVR procedure, pros and cons, complications, alternatives, etc. Then, allowed us to ask any questions we might have. Then, Dr Desai, looked my husband in the eye and promised him that he would take care of him like he would his own family. I think the stress level for both of us went down and we knew we were in good hands. It's been about 2 weeks since the procedure and everything is going well.

I Love Dr. Desai he is the most wonderful Dr. He saved my life when my aorta heart valve had hardened to the extent that he had to work to get in an artificial heart valve. He was wonderful explaining everything to myself and daughters. He and his staff were wonderful and helped make a scary experience into a wonderful one.

Dr. Desai has been my cardiologist for many years keeping tabs on a heart murmur. In November 2022 it was discovered that I now had severe aortic stenosis and in need of a heart valve replacement. Dr. Desai uses the TAVR procedure to make that correction. His expertise and knowledge in doing that surgery has me feeling like my old self again, by the way I’m 79 years young. I can now breath easier, more energy and have a new lease on life. Not only is Dr. Desai a well-trained, intelligent cardiologist with in amazing staff, he is kind, caring and makes you feel that you are cared for by a family member. I highly recommend Dr. Desai.

I have been a patient of Dr. Desai for over two years and he did a surgery to replace a heart valve a little over two years ago, I would recommend him to everyone I know, He and his staff are awesome and he is such a very nice person. If you want the best care ever go to Dr. Desai!

Dr. Desai is one of the best Cardiologists in all of northern Nevada. Seven years ago he preformed two angiograms on both of my legs. The artery in each leg was block by 90%. He opened the arteries up and to this day I walk free and with out any difficulty. Several months ago I started to have chest pains. Under Dr. Desai's instructions I had a stress test done at the hospital. The Hospital did not find anything but Dr. Desai did. He told me that I needed an angiogram to find the problem. I now have two stints in the arteries leaving my heart. The blood is flowing again, the pain is gone, and I have color in my face again, all because of Dr. Desai. If you want the very best see Dr, Desai. I am still here because of Dr. Desai.

I am 73 years old. In 2020 an echocardiogram revealed I had severe aortic stenosis. I've played sports all of my life, very active and have been very fit and was asymptomatic! I learned about my heart disease, established an account with the Cleveland Clinic, Stanford University Hospital, and Carson Tahoe Cardiology. Fortunately, a family member of one of Dr. Desai's TAVR patients introduced me to him. He performed my TAVR Sept. 27th. I am astounded at how much better it has made me feel, am totally healed and am now back into my daily workout/exercise habits! Don't delay. Follow his advice. He absolutely has your well being as his primary motivation!
