Dr. Bryan Mozingo is fabulous. He listens attentively to your medical needs and is very honest as to the right treatment for you. My entire family are his patients and we are all very satisfied.
I personally recall going to see him with excruciating pain and after just a few adjustments pain was 80% gone. The staff is very friendly. Appointments are given within a very reasonable time period. It's just a very comfortable feeling.

Not sure how my negative comments keep getting deleted, so I will just have to post again. I visited Bryan Mozingo at Chiropractic Health of Matthews as a brand new patient that only needed maintenance adjustments (about once a month). What I came out of there with was a complete TFCC tear [in my wrist] due to obviously inadequate skills, which required surgery to repair... and $60,000 in medical expenses. Did he have to pay for his negligence? NO he did not!

THERE IS MORE:
(1) Mozingo's office mistakenly told me they accepted my insurance when I first checked out his office and gave them my insurance card to copy and start a file on me, but when I checked out, I was charged FULL price ($185) with the excuse of "We don't accept your insurance", which they should have known since they had a very short list of the insurance they actually did accept. I did not realize this because they did not give me a receipt when I checked out; but when I saw it in my checking account the next day I called to remind the office manager that he told me they DID take it and it should have only been $35. He said they would charge me the SPECIALIST FEE of $80... like they were doing me a favor. I wanted to be done with them at this point so I didn't continue to argue.

(2) While I was trying to take legal action against Mozingo for injuring my wrist, his office manager ILLEGALLY quoted my attorney's office $275 for a single visit record... although my attorney told them it was too much!

(3) When I tried to get my own records, by going to the office and signing a paper requesting ALL of my records, they would ONLY give me 2 papers of S.O.A.P. notes... which were useless to me. It is ILLEGAL to refuse to give a patient their complete medical records... yet, the NC Chiropractic Board nor the NC General Assembly gave a crap about his office's illegal practices.

(4) During the hearing with the NC Chiropractic Board [which was a JOKE], Mozingo ADMITTED to examining my wrist, then changed his story throughout the rest of the hearing denying that he knew anything about my sudden wrist pain or that he examined it. I HAVE RECORDED PROOF. FYI - you absolutely DO NOT need to file a complaint with the NCCB against a chiropractor if you are ever injured... they WILL NOT HELP YOU!!

**I have documented evidence to my truthful claims above, so rest assured that I am not just a disgruntled patient and my claims here are not be considered slander or libel. They are provable facts.

If you want to read the WHOLE HORRIFIC STORY, please go to Facebook or just your web browser and type in My $60,000 Chiropractic Visit. I have provided information so that you can get a better idea of what you might face if you are ever injured by a healthcare provider.

Best wishes for ethical and competent healthcare providers that truly care about your well-being!

BOTTOM LINE: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CHIROPRACTOR! He was fairly punctual though.

I cannot recommend Chiropractic Health of Matthews. I took my teenage son who has chronic pain to Dr. Mozingo for acupuncture, but Dr. Mozingo insisted the chiropractic treatment was the way to go, even though I explained that my son had previously been treated by a chiropractor for eight months without improvement. Dr. M. said he used different methods and he was confident he could help my son, though he couldn't make any guarantees. He talked me into letting him take X-rays and do some work on my son and going for two more visits. The treatment plan he proposed would cost twice as much per visit as the previous chiropractor charged and there was still no improvement, so we declined further treatment. When I requested a copy of the X-rays I was told it would cost $20, which I paid. I was told I'd be called when the X-rays were ready, but never received a call. One day I stopped in to the office and asked about them and was given them. About two months later I received an explanation of benefits from my insurer and was due a substantial refund. I called the doctor's office and was told it would take a while for the paperwork to be processed and that I'd be called when it was available. A month later I was called back and told the same thing. Two months later I went in to the office to enquire what the problem was and was given the check, which was filled out my hand and dated two months previous.

I would never again visit Dr. Mozingo for anything..... ever! The best thing I could say about my appointment was that he was fairly punctual, compared to my last chiropractic office.

After a car accident, I went to Dr. Mozingo for back & neck issues. I couldn't even lie on my pillow at night, without pain. He put me on a treatment plan but after only a couple visits I saw a huge difference. Now, at the end of my treatment, I'm amazed. You will not be disappointed. Dr. Mozingo is great. The office atmosphere is too, Fiordaliza is very sweet and helpful.

I am a 64-year-old man with all sorts of back problems. I've tried a couple of chiropractors in the area and found little or no relief. Then I went to Dr. Mozingo. I won't say it was a quick or easy fix, but Doc very patiently worked on me and got back a lot of mobility in my neck and back - so much so that now I can go for a month or so without an adjustment. And believe me: that's an accomplishment.

Very kind and nice staff. This was my first time with accupuncture and chiropractic care. Dr. Mozongo answered all of my questions and calmed my fears with those needles! P.S. Only the feet needles hurt.
