Dr. Hertzler is amazing and helped us feel at ease with a terrifying situation. My last ultrasound reveled that my son would need brain surgery almost immediately after birth. When my son turned one month, he had to undergo surgery to remove a cyst in the center of his brain. Dr. Hertzler did an amazing job and I would even say artistic in his work. My son is now 5 years old and the scar is barely noticeable. Dr. Hertzler made the cut behind his hairline and with such care that I couldn’t have asked for anything better. He provided end to end care and still gives us wonderful care as we continue to monitor my son’s growth in tandem with the cyst that will always be a part of his life. It’s the type that doesn’t go away, but can be drained if the rate of growth of the cyst is faster than the rate of growth of his brain and head.
