Dr. Kriss is amazing, she took out my gallbladder a few years ago and my appendix recently. She listened to all my concerns and was incredibly kind and reassuring. I am recovering quickly from my recent surgery and would be happy to recommend her to everyone. Her staff is amazing and very responsive and easy to speak to. She is very knowledgeable about her field and is clearly very passionate about her work. She is amazing and has had my back and quite honestly, she saved my life. I am not living in chronic pain because of her.

I went to Dr. Kriss to have a lipoma removed. The nurses had me clearly initial my leg with a pen on the day of surgery. When I got home and looked at the bandages, I learned she performed it in the wrong spot. I had to see another doctor afterward due to a lot of fluid in the surgical area. In the end, over 300 ccs were removed from my hip. This was a careless mistake because she didn't take the time to look for the area that the nurse had me physically initial. I am left with a three inch scar and the original lump is still there. I can't bear to have another surgical procedure. I do not recommend this doctor.

I had an unusual mass removed from my groin, and I was referred to Dr. Kriss by my Endocronologist who said Dr. Kriss is a great Surgeon. I was terrified of the entire process of having this surgery, the waiting to find out the pathology report and the anticipation of the entire process. Upon meeting Dr. Kriss, I was so pleasantly surprised. Her staff is great, too... but Dr. Kriss was so wonderful. She seemed genuinely concerned and interested in what exactly was going on with me. I had my Surgery two days ago and all went just fine. Dr. Kriss was thoughtful, precise and extremely knowledgeable and calming. If I EVER have to have surgery again I will never hesitate to have her as my Doctor. I will be sure to refer others to her as well. If you need a Surgeon who is warm, caring and thorough and who truly has your best interest in heart, look no further.. God Bless her...she is an Angel for those who need her services...

She is very passionate about her career. And considering how young she is in her profession, she is definiftely knoowledgeable. She takes her time explaining everything with you and is very opened to whatever questions you have for her. Before, during, and sfter my surger the staff and Dr. Brita Kriss were always polite, professional, and nice. Extremely nice with great bedside manner! After my surgery for my gall bladder, I had excellent recovery. I thank Dr. Brita Kriss and her staff!

I found Dr. Kriss when I was admitted for emergency gallbladder surgery in 2004. She was the on call surgeon. I was in such bad shape with a terrible infection that she had to wait 3 days to do the surgery to get the infection under control. After the surgery she told me in a very calm and compassionate manner that I was in really bad shape and was lucky I made it in when I did. Her follow up care in the weeks after were just as wonderful. A few years later I had a breast reduction from a diff doc and had to go to Dr. Kriss to fix what the other doc messed up. Then my husband needed a colon re-sectioning and we knew exactly who to call. At this point we started referring to her as our family surgeon. My husband recently had a lipmona removed and she was just as wonderful as always. Her bedside manner and level of care is off the charts fantastic. We refer everyone we know to her and wouldn't let anyone else operate on us. Her staff is just as amazing as she is and her partner is great

Just had surgery and follow-up with Dr. Kriss. She is the best doctor I've ever had. She spends time listening, she has a great bedside manner and really explains the process. First doctor I've ever had who didn't seem extremely rushed and really took the time to hear what was bothering me.

Made getting my gallbladder as delightful as possible, as did the staff at the surgery center at Loudoun hospital. Very warm manner and most importantly, thoroughly explained what surgery would entail, recovery and possible side effects. Handed out a detailed pamphlet, writing down the details for me.

Dr. Kriss has a wonderful bedside manner, explains your problem, recommended surgery, and potential complications very thoroughly. Gallbladder removal was as pleasant as possible. Would use her again.

Dr. Brita Kriss is an excellent surgeon. She is incredibily knowledgeable. My whole experience with the surgery and the outpatient center was fantastic. My problem is resolved and my surgery was a success.
