The most memorable thing about a visit with Dr. Gardepe is her consistent lack of care for her patient. Neve on time, not just a few minuets, but never earlier than 45 min late. She won't take the time do discuss anything without a follow-on appointment.

One constant, always, always late, even when I had an 8:30 am appointment I would end up waiting more than an hour to be seen. Constantly filling out paperwork on each visit for the same thing, and it never changed. Removed 2 spots and they never healed well, even years later still look bad. Office is antiquated and dingy. Fired Dr Gardepe because I did not feel like my time was valued or that I was a valued patient.

Doctor Gardepe, seriously, you can’t spare one minute after six months and two hours of waiting? I waited patiently for six months for a new patient opening and then for two hours at the office. She hurriedly scribbled the standard prescription for my diagnosis and bolted for the door I asked her to also visually check a discolored arm mole I had discussed with her assistant. She quickly averted her eyes and said that would require a follow up visit. Stunned, I replied that there would be no follow-up visit if she could not simply look at the mole after I had waited six months and two hours. The physician’s assistant came to her defense saying “she is a very busy professional,” to which I replied “so am I,” provoking only an unapologetically indifferent shrug and directions to the cashier. As I walked in disbelief to my car, I wondered why a reasonably competent new dermatologist with a modicum of bed-side manner wasn't already clearing out her six-month backlog.

No, she's not always on schedule, and true you should allot extra time for your appointments. These are symptoms of her compassion. Are you worried about skin cancer? She'll work you into her overloaded schedule; she'll allay your concerns. Do you have a mysterious, ephemeral rash? She'll let you come in when you have symptoms. She'll recognize what so many other Dr's miss. By working with patients, working for patients, she was able to diagnose a family member with Celiac Disease (dermatitis herpetiformis). This diagnosis has changed lives; we're very grateful.

Poor quality. Was charged 20.00 for missing appt. which was scheduled 12 months prior. No courtesy reminder call or email. Poor knowledge about condition. Patient had to recommend medication for treatment due to physician using outdated antiquated medication. Used this Dr. for over 5 years and never felt confident with methods and treatments for condition.

Dr. Gardepe and staff are very unprofessional. As a pt. for 9 years, my mother had to cancel her appointment to be with me out of town for the birth of my first child. Dr. Gardepes and staff stated they tried to reach her by phone to reschedule, although no messages were left on cell or house phone. Dr. Gardepe terminated her as a patient after 9 years! VERY unprofessional! Wait time in her office was always 2+ hours AFTER your scheduled appointment time. Dr. Gardepe is very intelligent, but would not recommend for the above reasons.

Had to go 3 times for one problem. Took 5 months to get the first appointment. Then had to wait 4 more weeks for her to do the biopsy. On this visit, I waited 30+ minutes before being called back, and 45 minutes before she got to the room for the biopsy. Follow up visit was 4 weeks after that, and I waited 45 minutes, never got called back to wait in a treatment room, just told them good bye. Doesn't seem to care much for the patients, they are just a good stream of money for her. Makes me wonder about the first appointment, if my referral hadn't been for a biopsy, would she have done anything more.....
