There are good doctors and there are great doctors. Dr. Perel is a great doctor. He is an excellent diagnostician and is experienced, kind and compassionate. His staff is wonderful. I entrusted him with the care of my family whom he treats as his own. He is the best of the best...

I have never seen a staff that works harder then Dr. Perels. They are always running around and yes it does seem to be confusing and hectic but that's because their trying to help and make about 100 patients a day feel like their top priority. Dr. Perel may be a lot of things but he knows medicine. Truth is his staff is everything and it might take a little while for a call back from them but they have to decided what patient is priority at that moment. I could never make that decision so God Bless them and all they do. That office would be nothing without some of those women. His manager and especially assistant office manager will always return your call. They both help in everyway they can. If I need anything I usually call them it always gets done.

doctor perel is the most caring ,polite, and intelligent doctor i have ever met. he cares about each one of his patients like they were his children. He is blessed with an unmeasurable amount if intelligence and diagnostic skills. he may rush as all of you are saying but only because he wants to see and care for as many patients as he can in one day. anyone who complains about him is ungreatful and money hungry [a 40 or 50$ co pay come on !!!].god bless him

Dr. Perel's staff is well intended, but doesn't seem to have an efficient process in place. They can get a bit overwhelmed, and at times can be perceived as snippy. They are probably handling a higher volume than they should given their limited processes. They are generally knowledgeable and helpful, however. Not one of them comes to work wanting to do a bad job. They are dedicated. Dr. Perel also seems to be short with time, and limits the chit chat to only relevant medical information so that he can handle the volume of patients in his office. Personally, I like this because I'm there for his medical expertise and not to socialize. He sets boundaries in keeping the conversation pointed and relevant, and is good at avoiding the distraction of idle chit chat. If you think this is a bad thing, he may not be for you. If you think this is great as it keeps him focused on quality care, then he's your man. I like him, and have no doubt that I am in very capable hands.

Dr Perel is an outstanding doctor. He is very experienced and has a terrific staff and maner. He is caring and very helpful. He is known an as excellent diagnostician. I feel very comfortable with him treating me and assorted other family members. He teaches other doctors on various topics related to neurology. He reminds me of an old fashioned doctor who devotes his life to caring for his patients in the community.

Dr. Perel is difficult to reach. I had an important question about medication. Three phone calls to the office were not returned. His PA spent more time with me than he did. When I had to cancel an appointment on an emergency, some woman called me back and berated me, treating me like a child who simply did not want to get a procedure done. Seems to me this guy is more interest in making money than treating his patients. Well known or not, he stinks.

It is true that Dr Perel doesnt spend much time with his patients. Both times I saw him, we met for about 5 minutes. Nonetheless, I trust his opinion. For about a year I went to over a dozen different doctors who gave me one diagnosis after another. He is the first doctor to diagnose me correctly (i have fibromyalgia) and prescribe me the right medication which is helping me get condition under control. I'm not fully symptom and pain free yet but I finally have hope which I didnt have for a long time. Dr Perel helped me greatly and I am grateful for that everyday.
