While riding a ATV, the vehicle flipped and I broke all the metacarpal bones (Ring finger and Pointer finger were also dislocated in addition to the breaks) in my left hand, as well as my left wrist in two places and cracked my growth plate in half. Dr.Hillard came to examine my hand in my hospital room and it was determined I needed surgery. Five days after the accident I had my surgery which involved placing a plate in the 2nd metacarpal and removing the hook of my hamate. The surgery went well, and thank to Dr. Hillards AMAZING team of Occupational therapists, I was able to cut my recovery time from 12 weeks to 8 weeks. The staff at North Texas Hand Center (His office) are curtious, professional, and very kind, they really do treat you like family. I would recommend Dr. Hillard for any hand surgery you may require.

Dr Hilliard fixed a six week old injury that another Dr misdiagnosed. Surgery and after care went very well and I am back at 100%. Great staff, I am sending my wife to them next week.

This doctor is dangerous. He permanently damaged my hand. He did a trigger finger surgery, and now I can not use it. He cut a nerve and the tendon. I can no longer work and I can not even feed myself. I am looking for legal counsel to help me. One of the nurses told me he was supposed to me a plastic surgeon but got kicked out, because he was very bad surgeon. So they only let him do hand surgery. STAY AWAY FROM THIS QUACK!!!!

I am rating Dr. Hilliard and team (Amy, Kelly, and Elizabeth,) as "awesome" because they are the best in the business! Dr Hilliard came highly recommended by another trusted doctor of mine. I have seen Dr. Hilliard for 4 different problems and have had two surgeries by him. Working with the team has made the whole experience from start to finish hassle free and even a pleasure. The team put me back together and rehabilitated me back to health in no time. Today my hands feel better than ever! I have minimal scaring thanks to the extensive rehabilitation (which he offers in his own office by rockstar OT Beth)! Dr Hilliard and team met every need I had and treated my hands as if they were their own. There is no doubt in my mind who I trust with my hands. Thank ya'll for the for the work you do!

Dr. Hilliard helped me gain function back in my hand after a terrible fracture that another Dr. mismanaged. I'm so thankful I went to him. His staff was so helpful and genuinely concerned about my condition. His hand therapist was awesome! Never once was I misled about the severity of my injury or recovery. He told me it would be a long road ahead but with his care and knowledge and his hand therapist, I was able to get my life back!!! I know have use of my hand again!!

I thought the doctor was attentive and knowledgeable. He did not jump to surgery, shots first. I have Carpal Tunnel of both wrists, plus Thumb Joint Arthritis. Specialists, in my opinion, do seem to be the "authority" in their field, found all of them to be that way. Most of the staff was very friendly.

My interactions with the doctor and his team were fine. However, over the course of my 6 months of treatment and surgery due to a tendon rupture, I found Dr. Hilliard to be aggressive and a bit rough. He literally cut into my finger in several places while removing my stitches and I was often sore for days after he examined me. At the time, I had nothing to compare my experience to as I've never needed a hand surgeon before. I noticed that most of his other patients at physical therapy didn't heal well and needed additional surgery, which raised concerns. When I developed complications myself and sought a second opinion, I found my new doctor to be much more gentle and conservative in his approach. I will need additional surgery, but I'll have a much smaller incision and won't lose my fingernail the way I would have with what Dr. Hilliard recommended. The new doctor found additional damage that had been left untreated and will also have to fix the cosmetic damage Dr. H did.

Dr. Hilliard and his staff are very unproffesional. The rating I am reading sound exactly like my case. Dr. hilliard did perform a TFCC repair and cut into my arm removing the cast chuckling. Popping, clicking in my wrist in the cast and no relief of pain after surgury. Dr. Hilliard abandon me as his patient and acussed me of drug addiction. The symptoms have not changed and I am in pain daily.
