I debated leaving this review, but I feel others deserve to know my experience. Upon meeting Dr. Mukamana, she greeted me by saying "Okay, you're my last patient of the day so let's get you seen so we can both get out of here for the day". Absolutely 0 patient/doctor rapport was built as this was the first thing she said to me. She then asked what brought me to her, and SHE PULLED OUT HER PHONE AND STARTED TEXTING while I was talking. I stopped talking to let silence fill the room, and it still took her 10-15 seconds to realize I had even stopped talking. She then said "let me finish this real quick", and then literally had me re-start my story as she hadn't heard a word I said while she was preoccupied by her phone. Never in my life have I had that kind of an experience with a doctor. She also told me it would likely be 6-7 weeks before she could see me again as she "has too many patients that have high priority as well". Once again, never in my life has a doctor told me something like that. If she has "too many patients with high priority" then she has no business taking on new patients. My experience was something you hear stories about and think "that could never happen to me" except it truly did. I recommend new patients (and older ones) steer clear, as this was one of the most horrendous doctor appointments I've ever been to.

Rude, impatient and extremely unprofessional. Always on her cell phone.

The doctor is the WORST! She not only has you wait two plus hours, she has the audacity to stroll in for morning appointments whenever she wants. She doesn't care if she tell patients conflicting information and she doesn't care if you wait two hours or all day.

I am trying to sign up as a new patient. I was creeped out by the receptionist who asked me about my insurance before she asked my nae. I told her I was with BCBS. Then she wanted to know if it was legit or "Obamacare". I am sure that the doctor is good but her staff seems a lot more interested in money than health care.

I met Dr. Grace while in the hospital. She was friendly, attentive, and helped me understand the treatment I was undergoing (migraine headache for 3 weeks). I was very impressed with her knowledge and candor. I am happy that Laredo has her presence.

This woman couldn't read a road map never mind read the results of a electroencephalagram. Even after all of my tests came back negative, and showed no evidence of anything amiss, she put me OUT OF WORK FOR SIX MONTHS, and refused sign my medical form unless I paid her my $50.00 co-pay right on the spot. She just killed my only source of income, my job, basically putting me on possible worker's comp, which then THEY will pay the co-pay. She is UNETHICAL and UNQUALIFIED!!! I will be getting another barrage of tests, which will also come back negative, which at that point, I will have my attorney sue the pants off of this unethical Doctor. She is a blot on the medical profession!
