Fabulous! What a wonderful physician (pediatric neurologist). He provides unparalleled time to LISTEN to your (child's) concerns and cares enough to formulate a plan based on all the questions that he asks. He is genuinely highly empathetic in his demeanor towards the parent and child asking both questions.

Be forewarned that there may be a wait time, but SO WHAT if he cares SO MUCH about each and every patient that he spends true quality time with them to understand their situation. Isn't that the whole premise of the doctor-patient relationship? I'm not going to remove a star from the review for this minor detail. There is a big difference between wait time/punctuality due to over scheduling too many patients (in most physicians offices) rather than coming in and seeing that there are a several other patients that are getting quality personalized one-on-one care.

If you value expertise, experience, compassion and empathy go to Dr. John Seals.
*MY BIGGEST REGRET IS NOT HAVING FOUND HIM YEARS AGO (for my child). Multiple other doctors visits (ENT, sleep doctors, some pediatricians) do NOT compare with this one man.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Seals for 15 years. We have moved all over the country but always fly back to Texas for her appointments. He is the absolute best pedi neuro there is. He is caring and compassionate and takes the time to comfort both the patient & the parents. Like other posters, i dread the day he retires & we have to find a new doc. Each year I think, please let Doc Seals see us one more year! Love, love, love Dr. Seals...

We love Dr Seals. He is the best doctor in san antonio. My son has been seeing Dr. Seals for ten years. The appointments always run very behind, but it is evident that Dr.Seals cares about each and everyone of his patients. He never rushes you, answers all of your questions, and is genuinely interested in your or your child's health. He is definitely worth wait. I only wish that more doctors were like Dr Seals. We really do dread the day when he retires and we are forced to find a new physician. He is extremely knowledgeable and he really is a brilliant doctor. He always takes the time to explain my son's condition to us and he is a very kind person. If you are looking for a doctor is who the best in his field, and who doesnt just rush you like your just another person on his list, then give this doctor a try you wont be disappointed.

Best doctor around. He is a neurologist, but his knowledge is expansive in any field of medicine. You may have to wait a bit for your appointment, but he is worth every minute. Dr. Seals will also take his time with you and/or your child. He is calm, caring, and brilliant. Again, Dr. Seals is the very best doctor around.

Dr. Seals is the best pedi neurologist in San Antonio. Though you will have to wait, it is worth it, and when he is giving his full attention to you or your child it is easy to understand why he gets behind--it is just because he really cares to spend the time with each patient. of course he is brilliant about neurological conditions but he also know a lot about other medical conditions and is helpful about everything.
