Lesson learned...never eat ice!!!
With just a phone call , they got me in quickly and pulled a broken tooth. Angela and the doc were A+++. Only concern I'm having is after care because the other teeth I've had pulled , I was given instructions...antibiotics...and something for pain.... But in all its a good place with good staff. I will recommend, and be going back when needed

My experience with this doctor was very different. I need A LOT of dental work done so had started to see Dr Ewing. 1st let me say, the hygienists were excellent. Dr Ewing and receptionist however were not. I have been there for apps 4 different times, with those 2 of those apps being called "emergency visits," where they charge the insurance company and the patient a lot more money. With 2 regular apps and 2 "emergency" appts, they have cleaned my teeth once and killed one cavity. Called yesterday morning, got emergency appt due to having a horribly painful tooth that need to be pulled. I explained all this to lady that answered the phone. I get there, the hygienist comes in, takes x-rays and looks in mouth. Few minutes, Dr came in, got his little mirror and his pick, looked in mouth & left room. Didn't know he was even through since he hadnt done anything. He gave me rx for antibiotic, told me to take 4 ibuprofen. He did nothing to relieve the pain. Now I'm sitting here with a pain score of 9 and now he to look for a real dentist. He told me he doesn't pull teeth anymore. What???? No doubt in my mind they are milking the insurance company. VERY U NHAPPY WITH THIS DOC. Never again!

Had two pinhole cavities filled. Insurance covered all but $50 because I chose to use the white fillings which are less noticeable. I've had my teeth cleaned several times where the hygenist couldn't even tell that I had fillings. I've had them for about 4 years now and they're still going strong. The hygenists' are great - especially Angela. My teeth feel wonderful when she's done. All in all, a great experience!

This office is great but does come with a price. I needed 3 crowns after root canals and they were 500 something apiece. He does lifetime gaurantee them as long as you come in for your cleanings but for 1500+ it would have been nice to have some sort of deal made for a good paying patient. but I guess everyone needs to make money. I would prefer a less expensive dentist but his work is GREAT. you get what you pay for!

I've been to a few dentists in Shreveport. Dr. Ewing is the most knowledgable, most careful and the most gifted Dentist I've found. I highly recommend him.
