I am aware of the glowing remarks of other patients, however my experience was terrible. At first he seems very nice, friendly, and courteous to me. I explained my condition and he examined me. He explained all was needed was a minor procedure. No problem. However, two days after my procedure I noticed some issues. I emailed him my concerns and he told me how that could happen and how I should apply some cream to the area (a cream that he had told me right after the procedure not to apply) and to stretch the skin to prevent it from sticking together (something he forgot to mention to me after my procedure). Since then I have experienced bleeding, the last one being two weeks after my procedure! In my follow-up he said how it is a sensitive area and that may happen. That is new information to my ears. I am now going for a second opinion. I plan on never going back to Dr. Vapnek again.

The equipment is old & does not work properly; Supplies are inadequate; The Staff & Doctor do not practice proper infection control; The office, staff & doctor are disorganized; The doctor, staff & office are not sanitary enough for this type of work so catching an infection from this office or staff is likely; it's unfortunate because the doctor knows his urology but ruins it by all of the above & you can catch an infection infection that you never had.

Dr Vapnek was superb. This was my first visit to a urologist and I was scared. Dr Vapnek first chatted with me in his office, then took me to a room for an examination. Kind, caring, extremely competent is Dr Vapnek. He is low key, pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend him

Dr Jonathan Vapnek IS THE BEST!! Always accommodating with appointments, great magazine selection, friendly staff, good hours. Wheelchair accessible. Dr Vapnek is kind, knowledgeable, gentle, friendly, funny and doesn't rush the appointment. It is rare to find such a treasure in the medical field. Feel like I won LOTTO when I found him. I hear he is also a WONDERFUL SURGEON!! Thank goodness for this man.

Very professional listens to his patients. Makes one feel very comfortable under the circumstances. You don't get that arrogant, aloof personality that you get from some doctors.Hiighly recomended

Dr. Vapnek is the best!!! Kind, caring, and knowledgable. The wait in his office can go up to an hour+ so bring a book. But that's because he takes time with each patient, and for every minute I wait I know he's taking extra time that he'll also take with me and that's worth the wait. You can't do any better than Dr. Vapnek. I recommend him very highly!!!

When searching for a MD you often have to choose between between someone who is smart and knowledgeable, or someone who is nice and compassionate. However, in Dr. Vapnek's case, you actually get both!! Doesn't rush his diagnosis. And puts you at ease with conversation.

Dr. Vapnek was very generous for seeing a co-worker of mind at no cost and helped me dealt with the health of my husband who was diagnosed with testicular cancer a year and a half ago. Very kind and compassion person and willing to help out in any way possible.
