It's been a few years since I have been to see Dr. Pfahler. Needless to say, I was rather disheartened by the dry, callous demeanor of the woman, with a cane, who initially took me back to do a "brief" eye exam, and then onto a room, to ask me some questions and give me eye drops. She was not friendly, and appeared to be
brushing me off when I answered her questions. My biggest disappointment was with, Dr. Pfahler's demeanor. He wasn't friendly. He didn't take the time to really listen or talk to me. It seemed like he was rushing through my exam. He may be very knowledgeable, but he needs to drastically improve in how he treats his patients.

Staff are helpful, especially Kim. The doctor is good at what he does but lacks bedside manners. He gets impatient very quickly. He referred me to a rheumatologist whose staff messed up my prescription and didn't communicate to make it right. As a result I chose my own rheumatologist who cannot see me until November. Dr. Pfahler became angry and scolded me. He didn't even listen to the whole situation. I am a grown woman and had not been scolded like this by my own parents when I was little. He also fired me. I wish I had spent all his expensive bills on a kinder, more helpful doctor.

Patients are run through like cattle! Last time in there was no seating available in the lobby! There was 18 patients ahead of me and I was told over a 2hour wait ! Very sad!
