Dr. Kamali Bouvay has always known she wanted towork with kids, but it was a TV show about operationsthat sparked her interest in medicine. She enjoystaking care of children, watching them grow, developpersonalities and reach new milestones. She loves usingher knowledge and experience while engaging families'perspectives and values to promote health in children.Dr. Bouvay sees children from birth through college agefor the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acuteand chronic illness. She brings 15 years of experienceworking in the Cincinnati Children's Hospital MedicalCenter emergency department to her practice atTriHealth. Dr. Bouvay creates a safe space where familiesand patients can feel heard. While practicing evidencebasedmedicine, she collaborates with families toassure the best action with a practical approach. Sheencourages everyone to give themselves some grace indecision-making, recognizing there are a few hard andfast rules, but every child is different.Married with two children, Dr. Bouvay loves family gamenight, basketball, reading, cooking and baking.
