My husband and I have been going to Dr. Mercadante for years. Mostly she’s thorough in the office. But once you leave there’s no hearing back from her. I needed test results and I emailed, message portal, phone calls. No one never called me back. When you call the office the staff is nasty with no compassion. I had pelvic pain and the doctor asked what I thought it was . It turned out to be stage 2 colon cancer. She also thought I was crazy. It’s like pulling teeth to get her to respond to anything, test results, questions, real issues. I emailed the office manager Michelle and she tried to help me but still no response from the doctor. My husband had an office visit and has health issues. He told Dr. he doesn’t sleep well and is weak and tired. She was supposed to give him a prescription after trying other medicine which didn’t work. We tried to contact her and per Michelle she changed her mind. She just wants the office visit and that’s it. This is not healthcare. Horrible

Best doctor I have ever met. When I went to her for the first time, she was very thorough and was just amazing overall. I would rate her higher if I could; I definitely recommend her!

Wonderful Physician. Extremely intelligent, thorough, patient. Takes her time. Great communication. Great follow-up. The staff is excellent navigating insurance referrals. Highly highly recommend.

I've been using dr Mercadante for over 10 years she is a great dr that treats you like you are her only patient. She will sit with me sometimes for an hour until I am comfortable with what she had to discuss with me. She does take a little time to call you with blood results or test results. Her staff is great.

She is an excellent dr. she listens, checks everything, and doesn't rush you out of the office. When she is with you, you have her full undivided attention. Like the other reviews read they had to wait thats what it is, she is giving other patients the same care and attention you want when it's your turn!

When calling your this Dr. with a medically emergency she will not return your call.

Good listener but seems answer to everything is to write prescription. Also too much off label use of prescriptions for me. Doesn't return phone calls.

Other reviewer is correct that she is very good at taking time on office visit. My concern is she writes prescrptions for everything and does not return calls. she did not help me much.
