Ugh...where to start. Honestly, listen to the reviews below. I wish I had. Came highly recommended by attorney. After some time noticed things that shouldn't have been happening like communication to other party about me, eye rolling was huge.i knowing session it was over. Visibly expressed distaste for me. My advice...if your ex was a narcissist and abused you...do NOT go this route. You will have it flipped on you 180. Please listen to the reviews below, minus the 5 star, are accurate. Lots of personal comments were made as well that were unprofessional. I regret choosing this person. If your ex is a narcissist, you're screwed.

He puts the children's best interests first and is very easy to talk to. He's not afraid to make judgement calls about behaviors that are bad for kids, hence, 50% of parents coming to him will not get what they want while the other 50% will. He's a hero for the good guys, taking on hostile parents and protecting kids despite being unpopular with those hostile parents. Many psychologists would not want any part of his job, but we are so lucky that he is willing to take on this challenging task. He's extremely thorough, thoughtful and takes in many perspectives to come to his conclusions about parenting evaluations. He's highly regarded in the local court system. He's extremely professional.

Vien is part of the family court money machine, safety of a child and what is in a child’s best interest is of no interest to him. He ignores abuse, domestic violence dynamics are something he has no understanding of. An evaluation by him will guarantee you many years in family court, caught in defending yourself against the family court system where you and your child are at the mercy of the judge and the money you spend for all the “experts”.

He is very hard to schedule with. He only works 3 days a week. He was off almost every other week. He was completely inflexible with my work schedule. He charges $9000 for: 6 hours of talking, 2 bubble tests, reading a few letters, and transcribed boiler plate report. There is no home visit. After charging this much he tried to suggest himself to be a parent coordinator! Though I came out professional in his report - I gave him no handle to turn against me in our conversations - he rolled his eyes constantly during the sessions. This was despite very intentionally not saying anything negative about my ex; it was very unprofessional! I called him out -likely to my detriment- on his difficulty scheduling and he was not very professional in his response. In short avoid this guy!
