Good cardiologist but bad at internal medicine. Does not explain things. Doesn’t give patient opportunity to tell him something or ask a question. He puts his hand up like a traffic cop. Very frustrating

I just qualified for Medicare and had questions about insurance. Arbersfeld’s office manager said there would be a $300 deductible to pay at time of visit for my baseline checkup. So, I called Medicare and my secondary insurer. I confirmed the deductible is $203, but does not apply to the service I asked for. For clarification, I wrote Arbesfeld via his website. The baseline checkup includes a review of medical records. I suggested we push the appointment back to give the office time to get them. I wrote I’d stop by at their convenience to sign release forms. That was a week ago. I got no answer. When the office manager called to confirm the appointment, I declined and asked if she’d seen my email. She stated they don’t read those emails, chastising me for not calling. I asked to speak to Arbesfeld. He confirmed they don’t check their website email and proceeded to interrupt and argue with me, too. Arbesfeld, you try to cheat me, a senior citizen, and I’m the problem? Shame!

Dr. Arbesfeld is extremely knowledgeable and caring and his staff is great.
