Will not find a better cardiologist than Dr. Weaver. If you have to have a cardiologist, he is the one you want.

He is a very skilled surgeon-placed a stent in husband's heart going through artery in wrist.
He doesn't prescribe CoQ10,d- ribose, magnesium, hawthorne, taurine or any nutritional aides.

My family doctor made the appointment with him from an abnormal EKG I had when I went to him for chest pains. He confirmed it was abnormal;however he explained that statistically I was young enough (50) that my heart was fine. He made me feel like a hypochondriac looking for an excuse to take medications and have an ongoing need for a doctor. I rarely go to a doctor and rarely take any medication, including over the counter drugs. To appease me he said he would do a stress test. As a busy mother of 8 children (5 still at home) I wasn't interested in more unnecessary doctor visits. I would have appreciated an explanation on what causes an abnormal EKG. He insisted I was eating poorly and not getting enough exercise. Any facts I gave him disproving this were ignored.(I am 5'4 and weigh 110) I have been under tremendous stress, with little sleep for months so am assuming this was the cause. He was polite and not rushed which is nice in a doctor.
