Terrific psychologist - insightful, bright, and warm. He really helped me through a difficult time. It looks like a couple of folks rated themselves below.

He frequently bragged to my teenage son about all the important people he had worked with and work he had done, seeming quite the narcissist despite telling my son that HE was a narcissist. I should have known what to expect when at the first visit there were copies in the waiting room of articles that he had written as the "Love Doctor". Very full of himself & combative with my fragile bipolar son. My son left distraught & in tears & we found a much better psychologist. Also insisted that we get a second opinion on meds from a friend of his because he had "never heard" of a teenager given lithium. His psychiatrist friend told us (for hundreds of dollars) that our son was on the "gold standard" of meds & not to make any changes!

Dr. Dean Parker, was supposed to help me and my girlfriend with couples counseling. Instead, he gave us poor advice, was aggressively interruptive, while claiming that I interrupted him all of the time. He would frequently interrupt me and cause more issues in my relationship than we had to begin with, by suggesting horrible boundarys and irrational guidelines for us. I would advice nobody to go to this man for any kind of relationship or personal counseling, due to his pushy and aggressive demeanor. If it wasn't for the sake of my relationship, I would have walked out of his office slamming the door on the very first session.

I have been seeing Dr. Parker for quite some time now and I must say this is definitely the greatest experience I have had with a psychologist. I had gone through 3 others before finding Dr. Parker and I am so grateful for him. I am not the easiest person to deal with especially in this type of setting and I have the utmost respect for how he has handled me even at my worst and always makes me feel comfortable no matter what we are discussing.

Scheduled an appointment, spilled my guts and never got another appointment again! He said he would call me when he had availability-never called; I called him 2 wks later and was told he didn't have any openings going forward. Waste of time and money - then he bills me for what insurance didn't cover. Why would a Dr. make an appointment if they knew their schedule was so fully booked!!? Scam to make money! Unethical !!

He's awesome! As a teenager, dealing with issues at home and other things, he's really great. Kind, understanding easy to talk to. I was skeptical at first, but after our first meeting , every week I look forward to our appointments. I always leave feeling better. When I suffered severe anxiety, after one appointment, I felt a ton better. Overrall, a fantastic therapist/psychologist. Smart guy too, with awesome music taste!

Terrible experience. Very opinionated and seemed to have some other motive in moving me to make certain decisions about my marriage. Seemed to be purposely pushing my buttons and trying to upset me. Also seemed confused about some of the things he thinks I told him in previous sessions. Left me wondering if he was confusing me with someone else. Will not be going back!

Dr. Parker is kind, patient, and caring with a good sense of humor. He has helped me and my husband tremendously. Clearly the guy below was doing the interrupting!

Dr. Parker slammed the door as he stormed out of our session. I had to repeatedly tell him to stop interrupting me. He came back and asked me to leave. My wife was shocked. He stepped up on me as I had my hand on the door to leave and my wife stepped between us. Anger management? Conflict resolution? He needs to get some help for himself there. OUTRAGEOUS!
