Dr Curatola tends to run quite late starting appointments. He also goes back and forth between patients in his office. this leads to forgetting of things said to one person and possibly missing information in files. I found his office manager rude. I am really thinking about changing doctors!

I truly felt like a victim here. From severe price shock, mistakes galore, malpractice and empty promises to make it right, Dr. Gerry Curatola is a shiny accomplished crook ultimately, prioritizing his wallet over his patients. At one point I screamed in the dentist chair to alert the Dr. who was drilling my tooth before he numbed it. He would sing dean martin sliding from room to room working on multiple patients simultaneously, clearly loosing track of important details. The poorly run office with scheduling, wait times and no mental prep for cost and tx plan would be worth it if I was in good hands. I got metal removed and 4 new crowns at $3200 each. A week later, one abscessed and he sent me for a root canal and he begrudgingly replaced the crown. 2 years later, a second abscessed and I had to pay for a second root canal and new crown from a new Dr. And now, another 1.5yrs later, I’m told that the other two crowns need replacing. These should last 10+yrs. My anger continues…

SCAMMED ME. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE REPORT. I watched a webinar on holistic health with Dr Curatola and it sounded wonderful with a cone beam xray and ozone cleaning yadda yadda. I went there to get amalgam filling taken out of 1 tooth in pain as an emergency patient. I did NOT receive any ozone cleaning or cone beam scan in hindsight. Now just 3 months later I am in excruciating pain again which is what I could expect from a general dentistry practice not a holistic dentist! The office charged me 2500 took the money after saying I'd get a cleaning which NEVER happened. Now suddenly the office says they have no cone beam machine in office (it's located in the hamptons, or I can get one referred to me for an extra cost!!! would not even be that same day). The office says the Dr. did not do ozone cleaning based on the opinion of the Dr. that day. (really it was because I was being rushed out) I was told I would get a cleaning and it never happened not even a regular one. Dr. C has a line of toothpaste out but no cone beam!! This is the definition of cone beam for holistic dentistry based on holisticdentists.com "This type of CT scanner uses a special type of technology to generate three dimensional (3-D) images of dental structures, soft tissues, nerve paths and bone in the craniofacial region in a single scan. Images obtained with cone beam CT allow for more precise treatment planning." The front desk said that a cone beam ONLY looks at bone which is a straight up lie as they try to cover up the truth by misleading me. If you are living a holistic lifestyle this is not the place to go for comprehensive care. They are promoting the practice by misleading people about the cone beam which Dr. C says is essential for every dentist to have, which he doesn't! NOW IM IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN AND NEED A CONE BEAM BUT THEY TOOK ALL THE FUNDS I HAVE AND STUCK IN PAIN!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr Curatola for years and I have never had anything but wonderful experiences. Being nervous to go to the dentist for many years, I was concerned what the state of my mouth would be. Dr Curatola and his staff made my experience so wonderful and did everything possible to make all of my visits comfortable. This is why I keep going back!

Very welcoming personality to me with kind and well meaning staff, but made a few comments I noticed are both a bit condescending. Did not have the higher tech, more tooth preserving modalities that I had specifically asked the phone/consultation receptionist I truly desired in a Dental practice. I would not have made the trip to see this Dentist had I been told the truth. He is quite caring, or was to me, but HAS to have things his own way and appears to be confused by all of the propaganda that the Pharmaceutical/big drug companies use to confuse Dentists/Doctors AWAY from using the truly healing modalities, like Ozone, for example. Great Doctor if you just want cosmetics, but for a truly skilled Dentist in pure/natural dentistry utilizing Ozone, higher tech lasers... then I would look for someone who is genuinely well trained and well versed and honoring of these important modalities in healing teeth and thus, the entire body. However, finding such a Dentist is no easy task, so you may have to have a cosmetic Dentist like this Doctor, an additional Ozone Dentist who also is skilled with the Laser, and a Holistic/Pure minded healing professional to help you detox. On the West Coast, this is easy to find in one person, but the East Coast is a challenge.

I went to Dr. Curatola at the recommendation of a business colleague to get 8 veneers. My smile means everything to me in business and I wanted a winning one. Man did Dr. Gerry come through!! I cannot tell begin to tell you how many people compliment me on my new "look." Everyone says I look 10-15 years younger. I smile all the time and my attitude about life and business is at an all-time high. This was easily the best investment I've made in the past 20 years. Thank you Dr. Gerry and your wonderful, courteous, friendly staff. You are ALL 5-stars in my book.

I'm distressed that an excellent dentist with superior skills can be besmirched and have his reputation diminished by these last two reviews. They look to me to have been written by the same angry, misspelling patient. So, having just returned from treatment with Dr. Gerry less than a week ago, here's what I know is true: I went to him for a second opinion on my "regular" dentist comment to her assistant that I would "need" seven crowns. When Dr. Curatola looked in my mouth, he was horrified. My mouth was full of mercury, broken teeth, and a collapsed bite. The breakdown of both my teeth and fillings resulted in large holes, cracks in individual teeth, and my swallowing large amounts of dentin and mercury. Since Dr. Gerry has been practicing wholistic dentistry for some 20 years now, his plan of care involved removing the toxic mercury and rebuilding my teeth. He has since done a variety of procedures that have not just improved the look of my mouth, but the function, as well. He is a genuine artist fashioning "teeth that work.

I must say too, that it is a bonus that Dr. Gerry sings along with the music playing in his office. He's smart, inventive, and funny and only has one big challenge with us patients - being on time. So if you want to be his "patient", then you need to be "patient." His work is absolutely superior.

Nasty Lair!!! It is all about money and popularity for him. Does NOT care about patients!!! The wait time is outrageous. The work he does is really poor. If you want to end up with infection, root canals and pulled teeth and pay thousands of dollars for it, you are welcome in the "lovely" office.
