Amazing periodontist, I can't say enough positive things! Dr. Skanchy and his staff are friendly and helpful. He takes the time to explain my oral health so I can make the best decisions on my oral care. He willingly answered all of my questions and I had many! This office clearly deserves 5 stars and I would recommend the office to all my family and friends!

At my initial evaluation visit he was rude and mean. He did not explain things to me and wanted to do immediate surgery. He laughed at me, and told me, I would lose two to three teeth on the top left and top right. I almost jumped out of the chair to run out of the office. I've never had a cavity; my teeth are good and strong. I went to another periodontist for my gums and was treated respectfully. I did have surgery on my gums on both sides by another periodontist, who was able to save all my teeth. Do not go to Skanchy. He was quite rough on me during the examination; I bled a lot afterwards, and my mouth ached for a couple of days after the exam. He treated me disrespectfully. His staff was nice and courteous. I'll never go back. Don't go to him.

His staff is horrible about billing. They exceeded timely filing and I had to pay out of pocket. He did surgery for gum graft and he never saw me post op, just his tech. Graft failed and lost tooth.

Dr. Skanchy and his staff are very professional and very friendly. My dentist only refers to him. I now understand why. Would recommend to anyone.

Quality care with great bedside manners. Hard to find both these qualities in specialty doctors. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Other employees seem to have exceptional experience in their field. Very happy with the results of my surgery and the follow-up care i have received.
