Dr. Goldberg was just what I was looking for, a doctor who was warm, patient, a good listener and extremely knowledgeable. She knew right away what my problem was and how to treat it. I had previously gone to a GYN in LA and was treated with antibiotics for 4 months with no real relief. Dr. Goldberg gave me a topical ointment that immediately did the trick! I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg and I feel very lucky to have found such a warm and knowledgeable physician.

She is a wonderful doctor. I saw her while traveling and was so relieved to find her. She spent loads of time with me and went the extra mile to help me.

This doctor's bedside manner is poor. During my pregnancy, I walked from the exam room into the hall to take a breather, only to realize that I had been left in the room, by the doctor, while she bad-mouthed me to someone on the phone. She was almost never available outside of appointment times. She was nowhere in site when I went into labor. She could have showed her face during the hours and days that I was at the hospital. Her office was two buildings over. An unknown doctor with even less of a bedside manner showed up right after the baby popped out. The nurses delivered baby. Some of the staff could use more training on how to be nice, simply put, to pregnant women and all patients. For all my future ob/gyn needs and the birth of my next child, I sought services elsewhere. I did not feel like I had a doctor during my pregnancy, just someone who was going through the motions. If you randomly picked a name from the phone book, you could probably do better than Sharon R. Goldberg.

Just came from seeing Dr Sharon Goldberg today. What a refreshing experience to meet a dr who is so thoughtful and warm. Can't give her enough praise. Santa Barbara is so lucky to get her! I have been looking for awhile to find a gyn not caught up in the Sansum mess. Very easy to see her, make an appt and come on in. No pre-registration no lines, no hassle like Sansum. Loved her!

In recent months I've experienced many symptoms of an early menopause. I came to see Dr. Goldberg for help and I was impressed with her knowledge and the way she treated me. She patiently listened to my problems and explained in detail my treatment options. She even called to personally explain my test results. I'm lucky to have found Dr. Goldberg and I highly recommend her to all my friends. She's the best!

Dr. Goldberg is so helpful and concerned about me as a person and as a patient. She is knowledgeable and she will find the answer to your problem if it can't be solved at the time. She follows up by a phone call, how special is that? I was very impressed with her and very comfortable discussing personal information.

In 2012 I had a horrible time with my annual exam so was dreading this year's exam. I asked several other woman for a referrals and came up with Sharon's partner who no longer takes insurance. When I was talking to her office staff they recommended Sharon so I looked her up here, saw the previous recommendations, and decided to try her. I have never been so happy with a recommendation. Sharon was kind, warm, soft, and welcoming. She took me into her office, held out her hand, and said, "I'm Sharon." We talked and she took notes, asking careful questions, and answering all mine. I told her about my last experience, and she assured me that she would be able to perform the exam without pain, that she had done nothing but this for the last 15 years. And she was right. There was almost no pain and what there was was minimal. She explained everything. She obviously cared about my health and me as her patient. I have never been so happy with any doctor and give her my highest recommendation.

Dr. Goldberg was GREAT! She is everything I look for in a doc: a good listener; a problem solver; not afraid to admit she doesn't know; follows up w/ research to resolve the complocations; and she texted ME to see how I was doing. I appreciate a gooood doc and she is certainly one.

Dr. is great but her staff is rude and not helpful at all. I left her office in southington just do to her staff.

A VERY excellent doctor! She is rated among the nations top ob/gyns! She is very knowledgable and very helpful. She listens, asks questions and cares!
