Despite being 10 minutes late for my end of the day appointment and the Doctor's commitment to make a presentation at a seminar , Dr Gryska performed a procedure in the office that relieved a painful condition and provided instruction for post procedure care. All went well.

I'm not sure I would use Dr. Gryska again for surgery. I have mixed emotions about my experience with him and Newton Wellesley.

Dr Gryska may be a good surgeon, but he did not take the time to answer my questions. He was very dismissive of the concerns I raised about the surgery. I feel I made a bad decision to use him as a surgeon.

Dr. Gryska listened. No one else would do that ! Surgery went easily and results were great; but he listened.

Dr Gryska is a great doctor, I had very bad heartburn, He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and the surgery went very well and I am heart burn free.

If you are a woman I would think twice before working with Dr. Gryska. He may be competent, but he is extremely condescending and patronizing. A few examples of many - he repeatedly called my ovaries 'girl parts.' I am 50, not 12. In another exam I asked him to explain complications that occur from post-surgical adhesions and he told me 'don't worry about that.' He dismissed my questions without explanation. Too many good doctors out there to put up with this type of practitioner.
