25 years ago I was going to a doctor I believe in with all my heart ...I was not felling good my doctor ran test then said it's was all in My mind ..I went to Dr. Lovelady told him my problem what other doctor said ...Dr lovelady didn't give up on me ..he believe in me I found out I was a tipe one diabetic ...started on shots right away ..I just move back to Alabama try to get in to see him and he got so many people seen him I can't get in ...my heart broken because I am having problem again and need him to figure it out...been to 4 doctor and I don't like them ...I love Dr lovelady even after 25 years I'll never forget he saved my life ...

Is the statement that "you are legally responsible" a threat if I write something that is true but certainly not "flattering". My Mom had been suffering back pain for some time and saw Dr. Lovelady numerous times for the problem. He would give her meds for UTI/kidney. He never suggested pursuing the back pain. The last time she saw him he stated "you are just and old lady".Like a lot of older people she trusted her "doctor". She was at his mercy because she trusted him! Geriatric patients deserve better care. They tend to put their physicians on pedestals. A big mistake in this case. Unfortunately my Mom is not the only patient under his care that this has happened to. As it turned out my mom had bone cancer in her back! He really needs to be investigated or at least have his hands slapped. This probably won't be printed because it is not in the best interest of Dr. Lovelady

For years I avoided doctors at all costs. Had a general lack of trust of med. professionals. Since meeting Dr. Steve Lovelady in 2006, I have been converted. We have found him to be honest, knowledgable, caring, willing to listen and comprehend our problems and even sometimes our fears.He has proven to be not only our family physician, but our friend. He has gone "the extra mile" on more than one occassion to listen, diagnose, and refer to specialized doctors when needed. He isn't hesitant to order or recommend tests when warranted, like some doctors seem to be. One such time, I expecially feel he was very instrumental in saving the life of a family member, because he was willing to go the extra mile. "All Thumbs Up" for Dr. Lovelady.

Great primary physician. Attentive,knowledgable,caring. Works with a good group of specialists for referral. He`s also just a nice guy. Overall for doctor and staff-the best.
