If you're looking for a quick review of Dr. Zuckerman- He's 10 stars- The BEST- a true artist and his staff is amazing. I look fabulous and I'm super happy with the results!
If you're looking for details on why- read below.
I had surgery late February with Dr. Zuckerman and I'm now just about 8 weeks post op. I underwent a tummy tuck, breast lift/augmentation, 360 lipo and exosome injections. I'm 36 years old, 5'3" and was 136 lbs at the time of surgery. After two children, two appendix surgery scars, one 3" melanoma scar, and a belly button piercing scar, I pretty much needed a miracle worker to fix my train wreck of a torso.
When doing my initial research for NYC plastic surgeons, I was looking for the best "belly button maker". I can usually tell when someone has a tummy tuck because the belly button looks weird so it was important to me that I got it right. I looked at tons of websites' before and after photos/videos until I came across Dr. Zuckerman talking about how important belly buttons are in tummy tucks. I knew he was my guy. I immediately reached out for a zoom consultation. He was the first appointment of a few doctors that I scheduled to interview and I was incredibly grateful it turned out that way.
Our zoom consultation was very thorough. Dr Zuckerman went over every little detail of what he thought I needed based on my body concerns. He explained how each procedure works, my options on breast implants, the aftercare, and what to expect for results. I felt that he listened to me and understood what I was looking to achieve. I hung up feeling super confident in him but I still had to interview the other doctors. To say the least, the other doctors didn't go over half of what Dr. Zuckerman did and I wouldn't have even known what to ask the other doctors if he didn't speak to me first. He put them to shame so it was a no brainer... I went with my gut and was put on the schedule for a hot bod-three weeks out.
Two weeks before surgery- I went in for pre op photos and blood work around the corner. Everything was great. I met his nurse, Sarah, who not only is gorgeous but a real sweetheart. She went over more surgery details and instructions for before and after surgery, including how important lymphatic massages were.
The day of surgery was lovely. There was a Board Certified Anesthesiologist who greeted me and went over medical history. She got me cozy on the table and put me right to sleep. My husband hung out and worked from the waiting room for 8 hours until I was done. He was right outside of the operating room door and could hear everything which actually put him at ease. He got constant updates from the nurses too so he thought they did a great job on his end.
The home recovery was hard but only because I don't like to take pain medicine. Nurse Sarah called to check up on me a few times along the way. I had zero complications- just normal questions about if healing looked ok because It's kind of scary watching your body have so many incisions! My aftercare appointments were great too. Dr Zuckerman's staff's bedside manner is A+. One of the nurses, MiMi, just took her time helping me work through the pain and was really gentle. Another beautiful sweetheart, let me tell ya!
Everything has healed completely and I am looking like I'm 23- with much better boobs and an amazing belly button. I'm incredibly thankful for Dr. Zuckerman and his staff. They are truly talented, wonderful and trustworthy.
*Side note- Dr Z. was a bit more expensive than the other doctors I received quotes from but you get what you pay for. Nothing is more important than safety when it comes to cosmetic procedures. I sleep well knowing I won’t have to redo my procedures and my body was in the best possible care. It’s super important to do your research and select a board certified plastic surgeon that works with a board certified anesthesiologist.
