Will prescribe you whatever you ask for but won't refill in a timely manner! You'll go into withdrawal! He will literally gaslight you! Thank god I found a new provider.

I needed him to call in refills for my wife's medication and he didn't get back to me for a long time. Recently I called him two time to say I saw a change in her mood and would like to discuss changing or increasing her medication. He never returned my calls. After two weeks I simply found a new doctor for her.

I don’t know who is worse, him or his office staff. Always a problem getting your medications refilled and I am still waiting for a call back from yesterday when I was told he would call me in about 10 or 15 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

I cannot believe this person had a license. I was in his office for a yearly visit. He never once asked me how I was. He could not renew my medication properly. Totally clueless. He filled out the wrong prescription for me and then never made the adjustment when he was informed of the error. I tried to contact him for a month. He did not return a single phone call. I explained to his staff I am out of my meds and that I am not suppose to just stop taking them as there will be terrible side effects. Still I did not received a call back. Please do not use this person. He is the epitome of incompetent.

Psychiatrist at Montefiore-Nyack Hospital. A patient was admitted from emergency room for an infection. We were assured that Levy would not be involved in treatment as patient suffers from mental illness. Levy withdrew psychiatric medications without seeing patient or notifying family. Four years ago Levy withdrew all psychiatric medications from same patient because of fractured leg. Again, no notification to patient or health care proxy. Patient attempted suicide and was in intensive care unit due to aspiration. Levy's medical license should be revoked.
