In my opinion, Dr. Jana Mulvaney is not ethical and violated Ethical Code of Therapist several times which led to medical and ethical malpractice from her side. She has some Board Complaints from her patients. She works as therapist at Google on contract basis and in my opinion, such unprofessional and unethical therapists should not work at Google and should be penalized by Board and finally Court.

in my opinion, this therapist Mulvaney is very bad, hypocritical and useless in terms of garbage pseudi therapy she offers for clients of Google. In my opinion, she she should be disqualified a long time ago.

In my opinion, Dr. Jana Mulvaney is a really very bad, corrupted therapist. In my opinion, her client, Chi Ming Hubert Chen, Google Employee, made unethical agreement with her and abandoned another patient in therapy. Dr. Mulvaney knew about it and accepted that unethical arrangement.

Dr. Mulvaney was a rare find with many sorts of inspired support. Her quick access to humor, intelligence, and common sense were always there, sometimes paired with a protective, or maternal plain speak. She always rooted for me to discover truths about my struggles. This brought me comfort and peace many times. I knew I could ask her anything, and did!

I cant say enough about the support & real-time help I received. Dr. Mulvaney is a sincere, caring & smart therapist. One of the best (and I have a sociology degree). Highly recommend.

I saw Jana for two years during a difficult period in my life. During the first year she was helpful and available and got me through my issue with compassion and care. After a year, however, my insurance began to give Jana a hard time with my claims (this was according to her and I'm not sure why it was happening - the insurance company never contacted me about this and I had an excellent plan). I began to feel Jana become more and more dis-engaged, almost as if she was trying to push me out the door because of the insurance. Whereas in the beginning she was actively taking notes and providing detailed feedback, she now sat back and offered less and less. I began to feel like she was nodding and giving one word answers to whatever I would say. I spent an entire session bringing up a new issue that I wanted to work on and she stared at me blankly as if I had said nothing at all. I expressed that I wanted to dive deeper into our work together, but she clearly did not feel the same way. I canceled my last session and never heard from her again. I know this is a business, but one would think that after two years of weekly visits I would get a friendly e-mail checking in, at the very least. While my experience with Jana got me through a very difficult time, the way that things soured has actually made me hesitant to seek help with another therapist going forward.

Jana's style is warm and maternal with a spiritual/mystical bent. This worked at times.
At other times I felt like she was holding back and using the warm/maternal stuff as a mask to hide her true thoughts. I think I would do better with a more active therapist who isn't afraid to call me out and speak truth to me when needed.

Great support when I really really needed it. It was hard to find the time or the right person to help me with challenges with my mother. I am glad I found someone to talk to about this troubling situation. I am pleased that although not perfect, I have new boundaries & skills to comfort me.

In my opinion, she is hypocritical and harmful therapist who supported conflict of interests what is out of professional ethics of any professional. She did not make only ethical judgement questionable, she did not even try to help and abandoned the patient before Christmas. What was she taught at Graduate school except being souffleur? I did not find any of her publication despite Dr. Mulvaney has PhD.
