I think she is a great doctor and as per the most recent review, she should be upset if a patient does not want the vaccine because she is a DOCTOR, she knows deeply about how they work and the extensive science behind them, and knows better than most how important vaccines are for individuals and the community. With that being said however, I have been seeing her since I was about 12 years old, and throughout the years about 85% of my visits are with a different doctor that is not her. I know she works in multiple health care facilities, but how does a patient expect to develop a relationship or become comfortable with their family doctor if they are never there?

My family and I have been seeing Dr Alvi for 17yrs.
She used to be a nice person in the beginning

I have tried to make reasons as to why she may be so rude at times. I realize it's just her and there are no excuses.
Myself and my family have specifically noticed a change in her
since the vaccine rollout.
If you choose not to take the V, she wants no relationship with you she treats you like garbage. It's very noticeable too.
She made me feel alienated because of my choice. I was waiting by the nurses desk in the office when she walked up to the nurse, looked at my file said out loud shes not vaccinated, not realizing I was sitting right in front of her. Didn't apologize at all.

To be honest, she has no compassion for her patients ever, nor does she try to keep a good relationship with her patients. I have never been rude to her and maintained good repetoire with appointments and curtasy. My 17yr old even brought up how she rushes you off the phone and make you feel worse when you ask questions or request tests. He can't stand her. Sad when he has seen he his whole life.
She is just plain rude. She shouldn't even be a Dr. in my opinion
Sorry Dr Alvi, but you should retire.
You lost your compassion

She is caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. She tells it like it is but in a loving way. If you have her as a family doctor, you're very lucky.

Dr. Alvi should not have a licence let alone be teaching. She almost killed my mother.

I like dr Alvi and the student nurses have all been great. I have two complaints...it’s very difficult to speak to a real person when calling and secondly, the receptionist is terrible!!!

I tried going to Dr. Alvi for a year and then gave up. I found her to be quite rigid in her ideas (would not prescribe anything at all for my issues even though I had not been on medication and was just looking for something to help me). While she is very friendly, at the end of the day she has her own agenda/ideas and doesn't really provide any solutions or recommendations. Wasted my time seeing her.

Dr Alvi is an incredibly compassionate, smart, and caring doctor. My family and I have been under her care for several years and very appreciative. She is such a great advocate and counsellor for our family!

Dr. Alvi is a wonderful doctor. She is friendly and truly concerned about my over all health. She is open minded and never makes you feel rushed during an appointment. Dr. Alvi will even take time out of her own personal time to call me directly and checkup on how I'm doing outside of scheduled appointments. The wait time at the office is good but getting an appointment with her at can sometimes be challenging. However, there is always the option of seeing her partner, Dr. Everson who is also a wonderful, sympathetic doctor. The receptionist there needs a little training on how to be professional and friendly.
