Utterly terrible, it's beyond me how this woman was ever licensed and approved to treat anyone, an absolute disgrace of a "doctor" she'd be better off in retail and that's a stretch given her lack of interpersonal social skills. Rude, accusatory, and hard to understand. Also she shills for big pharma and attempts to get people on improper medications, a total sellout and a quack, stay far away.

Many misdiagnosis for both my husband and I. She told my husband that he had leukemia when he does not! Never follows up with me (all you have to do is send a follow up message within the program) if I have a diagnosis or if I tell her I have an issue. We go to her because we can’t see another doctor within the practice (it’s close to our house) without her permission. Cannot recommend.

Cold and impersonal. Lack of experience and misdiagnoses all the time. She's rude and condescending. Big waste of time! Would NOT recommend.

This doctor was flippant about my concerns and showed little interest. I had to ask her to really listen to what I was saying. Would not recommend!

I was apalled at this doctors rude and unprofessional attitude! She was condesending, talked down to me and made me feel very uncomfortable! I ended up having to ask one of her partners to help me as she dropped me for no reason & tried to cut me off w/o giving me the "legal" amount of meds required by law! A Home Health Nurse accompained me and she too was surprised at what she witnessed!

Dr. Montemayor has been my PCP for 16 years. She is perhaps the smartest doctor I have ever had, and prior to this I have moved several times. I do not understand someone saying she doesn't listen; I find her polite, thoughtful, and careful. She asks questions, listens, and I do not feel rushed. She is very proactive about addressing any concerns I have had as I've aged (I am now 53), and is prompt to respond to questions and requests through the online system. Her demeanor is cheerful and caring, and I would consider it a grave inconvenience if I ever had to find a new primary. Feel fortunate if she has space to include you in her patient list.

I was new to the ucd healthcare group and chose Dr. Montemayor as my doctor. I rarely have to go in to see the doctor so I didn't have a huge history with her. I went in to get some time off of work due to a number of stresses in my life (two grandparents died, applying to PhD programs, and work drama). I think the only part of my appointment she heard was "work" because she proceeded to tell me the only way to get disability for my time off was Workers Comp. I talked to my HR and Employee Health dept and they both told me it was not a work comp case and my doc should have no problem with medical disability. Needless to say Dr Montemayor refused to listen to me about my own life and has developed her own opinion about my stress. I wasn't even asking for medication (I hate taking meds) and only want to be paid disability for the two weeks I was off. I changed to a doctor who would actually listen to me. I do not recommend!

Very thourough and intelligent doctor! She always takes her time and I never feel rushed during and appt. I highly recommend Dr Montemayor.

I have had this doctor for years, but recently its been move them in and out like cattle. I am now switching to another group.
