GIVEN A NEW LIFE BY DR. HACKER....NO MORE PAIN IN EITHER KNEE!!!
Dr. Hacker was sent from Heaven I'm sure!!! He is beyond wonderful. A warm and caring doctor that puts you at ease and gives you his complete attention focusing on your pain and so thoroughly giving you your options.
Saw him after being told by a doctor at Kaiser to just go home and wait until I needed a full knee replacement.
I initially found Dr. Hacker through my own research online after that and went to see him on my own dime.
I knew from that one visit with him that he would be my future doctor. I was that impressed at first meeting.
Took me a couple of years to get under the right insurance for Dr. Hacker. Both my knees were bone on bone and I lived the past 2 years mostly sitting in my living room chair because walking was too painful. I lived with every cream, ointment, wraps, knee braces, tylenol, Tramadol, ice packs.....NOTHING gave relief.
Dr. Hacker just now completed 2 partial knee replacements on me ....June 8 and Sept 14...... 90 days apart. At age 77 and otherwise blessed with the gift of great health Dr. Hacker has given me a whole new life.
I had a normal amount of fear in the weeks prior to surgery. And probably more thoughts crossed my mind in the couple of days before. When I felt that I just thought of Dr. Hacker and my faith in him calmed me.
Surgery day with all the flurry of nurses around you at the 6 am surgery prep when Dr. Hacker's wonderful face appeared when he walked in to put his initials on my knee he was a beautiful sight to me. I looked at him feeling "I've got the best of the best doctor"! I couldn't have been happier to see him in that moment---BOTH TIMES!!
Two perfect surgeries with Dr. Hacker using a robot done at Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa. I read that use of the robot allows faster healing since its precision causes less tissue damage.
Walking my little dogs and dancing every day to music are two of my greatest pleasures now. All thanks to the most wonderful Dr. Scott Hacker!
