This review is really meant for her staff. I called for an appt in her Freehold office. I was initially told that they do not accept my insurance. Then I was called back and told that they can code it a certain way and it will be paid. Before my appointment I called to make sure that my bill would be covered by insurance. Few months down the road. " We never said that!.. "Who did you talk to? " Then I was threatened with it going to a collection agency. Will not trust her or her office staff ever again. And she did nothing for me. Lump still in breast. I will see what next weeks sonogram shows, but I won't be going back to her.

Dr Martucci is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met. Her knowledge of breat cancer and treatment options helped myself and my husband through this very difficult and emotional time. She was thorough in her review of all my tests and answered all our questions. She was always available by phone to discuss any concerns we had. Dr Martucci is in my opinion one of the finest doctors in her field. She treated me and my husband with a kindness that is unsurpassed. I highly recommend her to anyone facing this disease. Thank you Dr Martucci for all you have done.

Office staff at first refused to give me an appointment stating that they had to be sure that I was calling the right type of doctor as Dr. Martucci didn't do implants! After determining that I needed a breast biopsy, Dr. Martucci insisted upon an EKG, then a nurse informed me that it was abnormal (by phone at 5:00). While I was very comfortable with the doctor and felt that she knew what she was doing, her nurse made too many calls to me that I felt the doctor should have taken care of. Also, the successive doctors that I have seen concur that the EKG business was silly and served no purpose.

Dr Martucci is a fine surgeon. She pinpointed my breast cancer right away, removed it and did further testing to be thorough and make sure there was non anywhere else. I was comfortable with her and she doesn't sugar coat things, she gets right to the point. I would recommened her to anyone with the possibility of breast cancer. TSarlo

The Flintstone School of Medicine has way too many graduates and she is one of them. When calling her office to request a second opinion for a mastectomy, I was first interrogated by the secretary. She asked way too many questions. I was instructed to have my records faxed, which I did. The following day the nurse called me and said "the doctor said you are in good hands with your current surgeon and she will not see you". In further conversation with the nurse, I learned that the records they received were incomplete (at best) and the doctor made an impulsive decision without having all of the facts. Is this what she does in the operating room? When a person has breast cancer, you want the best. Stay away from her.
