I love Dr. Banks. He is kind and really listens. He always seems to be upbeat and likes what he does.

He has always been very punctual, helpful, and knowledgable. I never wait long to get in to see him. I'm very pleased with the care I receive overall.
I'd like to point out (from the comments below from 2010) that Dr. Banks didn't even move to Tennessee until 2012 when I started seeing him here - so these negative reviews probably aren't about him.

I've been with Dr B for a few years now. He always takes the time to listen and acknowledge my issues with knowledge and patience. He's a nice guy and always puts myself and my husband, who usually goes with me, totally at ease. His staff is always so nice and accommodating. Appointments are always on time, even when I am not. I just call and let them know I'm running late and they say it's no problem and what time I'll be there. Prescriptions are never a problem and they work well with my pharmacy and my mail order pharmacy. I am very pleased with Dr. Banks and his staff.

He did not seem to care about my pain in my butt cheeks when I sit down he didn't even look at it. He gave me an antibiotics because I have high white blood cells and sent me to xray. And to come back in a month really a month I cannot sit down without being in pain!!! They called me back 3 days later with the xray results being fine. At this time I tell the nurse how much pain in in she tells me to call in 2 weeks Friday was 2 weeks so I called. The nurse was very busy being the only nurse and did not return my call!! Meanwhile in still hurting and my can't sit down

I love that I am typically able to get into him (an actual Dr.) same day, and not referred over to a NP in the office. My appts are always on time, and I'm never left waiting very long. I have seen him for a variety of small problems here and there and have been pretty comfortable with his answers. He doesn't jump to the most severe situation/treatment, and also there is a lab in the office which is convenient. =)

I felt that Dr. Banks was very helpful and nice. The staff was very personable and professional. I really appreciated the the fact that Dr. Banks took the time to LISTEN to me. I also appreciate that he was personable and has a sense of humor. Overall great experiance!

His staff seems to do most the work and he doesn't seem to care about patients. I had a very severe infection and I made 2 appts & called multiple times & was told that I was fine & problems would clear up on their own. He treated me like I was "seeking drugs" & didn't have anything wrong when you could easily see I had a severe infection. I finally got a 2nd opinion & was told if I had waited much longer it could have been fatal! I have worked at a doctors office & at a pharmacy & I'm fully aware that many people lie just to try to get narcotics but that's no excuse to treat everyone like a drug addict. And if a drug addict was to have a serious infection they deserve medical care!
