I found Dr. Mattison on my insurance's website. I found some great reviews, so I gave the office a call. I scheduled a checkup and cleaning for me and my son for the next day. When we arrived, there was no one at the front counter, so we signed in and sat down. We're excited over a half hour before my son was called in. The dentist did an exam and x-rays, but no cleaning. He wanted to schedule him to come back on another day for the cleaning. I reminded the receptionist that I scheduled an appointment for a checkup AND cleaning for both of us. He apologized, but by then we'd be in there for over an hour, I hadn't been seen, and we were not going to get the services that we came for. We left and will not be going back. Additionally, the office is raggedy, the receptionist is inept, and they are slow. There are no hygienists or medical assistants, so apparently the doctor does everything, which explains the wait. I will go back to my out-of-network dentist and pay the cost rather than risk having this experience again.

Doctor Charles A. Mattison is an excellent dentist with great personable professionalism. He exhibits a compassionate, caring, warm and sensitive manner. I would highly recommend him to family, friends and strangers.
