My first impression of Hang Pak, D.O. was that he seemed fairly compassionate. However, he does not listen well, and is quick to provide a diagnosis without the proper testing. After many appointments with Dr. Pak, it concerned my spouse and me that he does not seem knowledgeable with regard to recent pain management research or treatments. I saw Dr. Pak for last several years and during that time gained no overall improvement in my function; my pain and function slowly worsened. Furthermore, Dr. Pak continued to tell me that I needed to accept the reality of my condition he diagnosed me with. After much thought and prayer, I decided to travel much further to be under the care of a different pain management doctor with more expertise. The diagnostic testing my new md performed confirmed a different diagnosis for which he has been treating me for the past several months. My family is amazed at how much my quality of life has improved, and I now no longer require daily pain medication.
