The blue light procedure takes a good part of the day due to the steps involved with the topical application, which requires a couple hours to prepare the skin. The actual light treatment is brief and a bit unpleasant but well worth the discomfort for the end result. The first couple days after the procedure leaves you with the sensation of having a severe sunburn. My experience was that the stinging completely subsided on the 3rd day and the exposed pre-cancerous areas began to scab over. Within a week post-procedure there was continued peeling of the skin on most of my face (easily dealt with by gentle washing and lotion) As the peeling stopped, most scabbing began to disappear and within 10 days I can say I began to feel very good about the results. As of 2.5 weeks post procedure, my skin is noticeably smoother and far less red than before the treatment. This is way less daunting than one might think and I would highly recommend it for anyone who has suffered years of sun damaged skin.

I had Mohs surgery for basil cell skin cancer.with Dr. Bukaty. The procedure was performed in her office and it went exactly as she represented it would. She also performed the stitching to close the wound post surgery. The healing process went exactly as described and healed much faster than I anticipated. I visited her office for a routine check up and follow up and the scar from the surgery is barely noticeable. Dr. Bukary and her assistant Carrie Lucas handled everything for me. I am exceedingly happy to endorse Dr. Bukaty and her staff. They did exceptional work and I am very happy with the results.

I have been coming to Dr.Bukaty for over a decade and I wouldnt consider another dermatologist. Dr.Bukaty as an acute eye very gentle touch is very thorough , always taking all the time she needs with you. I apperciate her ability as a surgeon and she has a lovey staff. I have referred all my family and friends to Dr.Bukaty.

I Have been a patient of Dr.Lisa Bukaty since 2006. I am and always have loved the sun, so I have been paying for my mistakes with multipule skin cancers now, all in which Dr.Bukaty has taken care of. i.e. surgeries, Mohs,and several biopsys. You would never know how many removals I have had due to Dr.Bukatys expertise. Very little scary. The office staff is so helpful and so friendly, Carrie exspecially goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. I have referred several family and friends to this wonderful professional office.

Long time patient of Dr.Bukaty, so nice to deal w/prompt courtesy personnall. Great facility, appointments always kept on time. and always treated w/respect and a smile. Dr. Bukaty is a wonderful surgeon, I recently had Mohs surgery and could not believe the out come, barley a scar..If you are looking for a dermatologist this is the office for you.

So Thankful Dr.Bukaty found my Melanoma, it's a life terrify occurance. It was my second Melanoma. Dr.Bukaty always takes her time, she never is in a hurry, shes very focused on you and only with you during your appt time. Dr.Bukaty always explains what shes going to be doing . I have had 2 other dermatologist , and now 2 Melanomas. I would highly recommend Dr.Bukaty to family and friends which I have done and continue to do. The Office staff are very professional and friendly, always there to help.

I've been a patient of Dr Bukaty for 15 years. She's very through with my yearly exams, always advising to stay out of the sun and use a sun protection. She's a doctor that practices what she preaches. I always have questions regarding "what's new" in the cosmetic field. She takes the time to explain and advise.
