There are two sides to every story. Complainant ordered glasses, was told there was no change. Then wanted to return them for a full refund after they were custom manufactured to her prescription. We believe it was buyers remorse, as progressive lenses are expensive and her ins. did not cover entirely. Better Business Bureau reviewed the case and found our settlement fair and just. Anyone using the services of the Federal Way Family Vision Care should be aware of the policies practiced there. They claim 100% satisfaction but the truth is different. The doctor may be OK, but if you get lenses from them and the lenses are faulty or do not satisfy your needs you will still pay at least half of the cost and have nothing to show for it. It happened to us and we are out $135.00. We have contested the charge but believe it is a futile attempt. Since we challenged their policy we have been told by the Doctor that we are no longer welcome as patients. Then they say “we did this in good faith.” Well that translates to you pay they don’t. The person who does the ordering and fitting is aggressive. She finds it necessary to brag about her 30 years and knows all the excuses including that “your brain is not responding to the new prescription.” John and Rosemary Jensen, Tacoma, WA.
