Greg Ha provided the worst medical experience I have ever had. I saw Greg Ha in 2020 for severe back pain. He looked at my x-rays and said, "Your back is a mess. I can't help you. When you are in so much pain that you want to kill yourself, you might consider surgery." I then saw another neurosurgeon, who performed a 2-level lumbar fusion and helped my back. Greg Ha should NOT be practicing medicine! I know two other people to whom he said the same awful things.

Friendly, compassionate, explained in great detail, even when scheduled for time off would come in to take care of his patients in emergencies. Need to locate him. He is fantastic unless you’ve had a surgeon like him. You really don’t know how good he is the orthopedic surgeons who left. Desert Orthopedics are so very missed. For the first time in my life, I had great orthopedic care, and now I feel lost.

My husband and I have both seen Dr. Ha and he's the best. He has always been professional and laid out all options and facts. He spent a lot of time with us. My husband was walking again without pain thanks to him with just one injection and PT. All I needed was PT.

We feel he has always had our best interest at heart. We know he is no longer at Desert Orthopedics and we hope he stays in the area. He's a great asset to the medical community.

The damage and pain I’ve incurred since seeing this doctor is immeasurable. I hold him directly responsible for making my day to day life just barely manageable. If I can help one other person from seeing this sad excuse of a doctor and enduring a life of unnecessary pain at least I will feel somewhat vindicated. You brought shame to your own house Dr Ha.
p.s. - I could have put up with your nasty bedside manner if only you were a competent surgeon.

When I first went to see Dr Ha I was in a great deal of pain. Dr. Ha was extremely knowledgeable, kind, caring and moved quickly to relieve me of my pain. We tried injections that gave me temporary relief. He listened carefully to the quality of life I was striving for and felt that I was not asking for too much even at 72. Dr Ha worked to get my surgery scheduled around all the COVID problems within our health system. My surgery was a total success. Dr. Ha spent as much time as I needed answering my questions before and after surgery and that is saying something when I am considered a high information patient by others. I would recommend Dr Ha to anyone looking for an excellent, knowledgeable, focused, efficient doctor and surgeon. My primary care doctor, Dr. Jessica Morgan, told me Dr. Ha is an EXCELLENT surgeon, and that he is. I would go to no-one else.

I find Dr. Ha delightful with an outstanding sense of humor... light-hearted, quick and funny!!

Dr. Ha's diagnosis, that my back "is a mess," was not helpful. His treatment plan was, "When you are in so much pain that you can't stand it and want to kill yourself, then you might consider surgery." He offered no advice about non-surgical pain management. The worst visit to a doctor that I have ever had. Absolutely devoid of empathy.

I first went to Dr. Ha in July, 2009. We were living in our RV and planning to stay in Bend for a month. But, prior to arriving in Bend, I was having pain and tingling in my right arm and had an X-ray and MRI in Las Vegas and was told I needed to follow up with an orthopedic surgeon. Upon arriving in Bend, I saw Dr. Ha. He ran several tests, tried steroid injections and we all agreed that surgery was the best solution. He was very friendly, always on time and the outcome was excellent. We now live in Las Vegas, but I really wish we had as good a doctor here as Dr. Ha was in Bend. Since my surgery was on our 35th wedding anniversary, Dr. Ha even gave me a long stem red rose. If you want a surgeon who is truthful, caring and in no hurry to give you drugs and or surgery, he is your man. I can't say anything negative about him.
