Went here for years because the doctor himself usually takes time to talk to you and is compassionate. As another reviewer says, he can be quirky. When discussing insomnia, he once suggested to have a drink of alcohol every night "like he does". Once I mentioned trying CBD oil and he said "why not just smoke marijuana"? Meanwhile, the nurses in his office will treat you like a dirtbag and drug seeking addict if you have any chronic pain issue, even though you have no addition history, history of illegal drug use, or use any opiates. Once had a nurse claim her rules were the law - which is a blatant lie. They just have rules the nurse feels like making up that day. I went and got a set of labs that the doctor himself ordered then had my regularly scheduled check up exactly as scheduled. They waited to call me after I was gone to say since I didn't get one lab THAT THEY FORGOT TO ORDER, therefore none of my prescriptions would be filled. I had the same lab only 5 months earlier but she claimed because it was January, it no longer counted. She refused to let me speak to the doctor, because they've done this before and when I complained to the doctor he said they were wrong and gave me my meds. She refused to check with the lab to see if the result was just not sent yet. She refused to say something like "you can get one month's supply and need the lab before the next refill". Instead she would only let me speak to the office manager, who frankly should not be making any medical decisions, who just backed her up. I'm done with them. They've messed up orders and paperwork many times before. I went for a mammogram with the wrong order from the doctor. Both the center and myself called several times begging for the doctor to correct the order. The lazy receptionist just said "he's with a patient" and refused to ask the doctor. After an hour, my test had to be rescheduled, which meant talking more time off work. The nurses don't care at all for the money and time spent getting extra labs or having to reschedule tests because of the wrong order. They don't care about your health or dignity. I once had to schedule a six month visit at seven months - because they had nothing sooner available, yet they pull the same BS of not allowing you to get prescriptions because your appointment is late, even when I was taking something I would have withdrawal from after I ran out. I don't know if the doctor is completely unaware of what his nurses are up to or if he's directing them and too cowardly to say it to you face. Quite frankly, at least one of his nurses should lose her license.
