I am so lucky to have found Dr. Chou after suffering from more than three years of infertility. I just turned 40 when I first went to see him in March 2020. He examined my health condition using the traditional methods of Chinese medicine, based on which he laid out a plan for my treatment. He explained to me in detail his fertility program using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to "reactivate" my reproductive system and to restore body ecosystem balance. I started changing my diet and living style based on his education, and receiving regular acupuncture treatment for more than 6 months to well prepare for pregnancy (I had a history of miscarriages). In the meantime, I also encountered a variety of medical conditions that interrupt my pregnancy plan, such as recurring of hyperthyroidism due to my Grave’s disease, High FSH and low AMH levels, and discovery of anticardiolinpin antibody (one that often leads to higher risks of blood clot and miscarriages). Surprisingly, after 9 months of treatment, my FSH level went down, AMH level went up, the anticardiolinpin antibody number also went down to normal. In the middle of treatment, I was once very desperate hearing about other patients getting pregnant, and was thinking to move onto IVF. Two weeks after I had a consultation with the IVF doctor, I found myself PREGNANT!!!! I can’t be more than happy. The miracle wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t found Dr. Chou and followed his advice. He is definitely highly recommended.

I am so happy to have found Dr. Chou! He is an exceptional Acupuncture
practitioner who has extensive education in this field with a list of impressive degrees, including two PhD’s. He started treating his siblings when he was still a teen in Taiwan where his father schooled him in this ancient art. He has a gentle touch and places the needles perfectly with no discomfort to me. He has a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and what causes pain.

My first visit to Dr. Chou was an education in his method of treatment. He took time to explain in detail what to expect and he listened to my concerns and answered my questions. After the second visit, my primary concern (a persistent cough) was completely eliminated and has not returned. My tendonitis/carpal tunnel in my dominant hand is 90% better after a few visits and my painful knees are 100% after the 2nd treatment.

I am more than happy and extremely grateful to Dr. Chou for everything he has done for me. You will not be disappointed with his kindness, understanding and wisdom.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. Post treatment, I've been on Tamoxifen for about a year and was feeling chronic fatigue and depression. In addition, I have had lower back pain forever since I had back labor with my oldest child who is now 17. I've also had neck and shoulder pain from day to day working in an office at a desk. After going to Dr. Chou 8 times, it was amazing how each and every time, how much better I felt. I was completely relaxed and good feel a significant difference after each 1 hour session. I’ve been searching or a "Dr." provides both acupuncture & herbal medicine for a long time. Then, I found Dr. Chou. He is truly a magical worker. Not only he was trained in the most notorious medical school in Taiwan, but also got his Doctor in Tradition Chinese Medicine in the most famous university in China. I am in nursing since 1995, Dr. Chou has over 30 years experience of Chinese medicine. He is caring, very patient and professional. I received acupuncture & herbal treatments once a week for almost 6 months now, my acne cleared up, my face is glowing, I sleep better, my mood has improved dramatically; the treatments helped my headache, wrist & back pain; my chronic inflammation is gone. I am so happy that I am now medicine free, I believe the acupuncture regulates my body to stimulate self-healing process.
Like everything else, there is no shortcut for healing. It will take a few sessions for your body to re-balance itself. Be patient, you will get there. Dr. Chou is an outstanding acupuncturist and Chinese medicine doctor. He treated several of my health problems. I experienced and learned a great deal from him. For example.
my voice used to be weak due to the stagnant Qi flow in stomach. As my stomach problem was being treated, I found my voice was getting sonorous. I then realized how the function of one organ can affect the functions of the others, as well as the impact of Qi flow on our physical body. I was also amazed that acupuncture was more effective than chiropractic treatment for my shoulder case, which I had been getting chiropractic treatment (at least twice a week) for a very long time with a very slow progress. Once I mentioned my shoulder problem to Dr. Chou. He then added more needles on me to also treat my shoulder problem. One or two days later when I went to the chiropractic center for my shoulder problem, I felt much improved when the chiropractor stretched my shoulder. Initially I was uncertain whether the significant improvement was due to the acupuncture treatment or not, but I was able to confirm it later on because Dr. Chou treated my shoulder one more time.

I have been seeing Dr. Chou for my sleep problems. I have suffered from insomnia for years, but recent stress in my life has made matters much worse. I had trouble getting to sleep as well as staying asleep. After 5 treatments with Dr. Chou I began dropping off to sleep pretty quickly. I still wake up earlier than I'd like, but I'm no longer tired all day. I think that my sleep will continue to improve with more treatments. I find Dr. Chou to be very accommodating. He makes sure that you are comfortable in every way during your session. I am very happy with his care and will definitely continue with him.

Dr. Chou has been working on my back. For years I have suffered from back pain, because of a doctor cutting a nerve in my back. After two visits it is already much better and he worked on my memory and neuropathy in my feet. My memory is much better and after one visit for my feet, my toes feel normal again. I am 87 so any improvement is great. I will keep seeing Dr. Chou, who is a very gentle person.
