He likes his patients to stay sick. This way they must keep coming back. He will dope you up as much as he can.

Dr. Lewis' bedside manner is excellent. He cares for people and is a brilliant diagnostician. I've seen him for ten years now, and he also sees my father. My dad does not have insurance and Dr. Lewis makes sure to get samples of his insulin so that my dad never has to go without it for lack of money. They don't make doctors like this anymore.

Horrible bedside manner. He did not insure patient privacy and discussed my health issue in ful view of the front desk staff and other patients. He stood out in the hallway while discussing my very emmbarrasing medical concern. He then told me that he could not help me and gave me the number to another doctor. He did not issue a refund since he couldn't help me . I think there are nicer doctors out there who are more willing to work with patients and understand their needs. The place looks decrepit and the medical service is as well. I think there are better treatment options for people who are looking for rehab options than someone who kicks you out after one failed drug test and weeks of clean urine samples. It was extremely disheartening to be laughed out of the clinic in full view of other patients and staff after he made it known that I failed a drug test. This is after staying on track for two months and feeling like I am doing something positive.

I chose this doctor for my allergy shots. I'd go weekly for months. The staff is not the most helpful one I have delt with. When requesting information over the phone or have some document be faxed over, it would take probably several calls for them to do the job right. Even when trying to schedule an appt they would put me on hold for a long time to the point I would hang up call back and when asked "do you mind if I put you on hold" I would respond " I do mind and don't want to be put on hold." Only then would I be able to schedule an appt. When you do get to see the doctor he does what he needs to do and leaves without you knowing if he will come back or not. Several times he'd leave the room without me knowing he would not come back in case I had any questions. Dr. Lewis might be a very knowledgable doctor but lacks the interpersonal skills to interact with patients.

Never looked at me the whole 2 minute appointment. He had his back towards me, with his face in his clip board. Very poor bedside manner! Prescribed me some medicine called lexapro, left me in the room crying with no hope. Complete jerk!

Gone many times. Never looks at me. Never looks up from the clipboard. Perscribed me with lexipro and ambien for my insomnia. Both at the same time! I practically went nuts. Gave me a 2 weeks supply of lexipro without telling me that you have to keep taking it if you get on it. Staff could care less if you died right in the office.

This doctor has helped me when other doctors have been hung up on their bias, etc. He has listened to me an treated me like a human being and took the patient's words while other doctors totally ignored me and treated me like crap. I pray that God blesses this doctor to excel and raise him up above all other biased and uncaring doctors in this area and beyond. Texas is an unusual place for good doctors who care and look beyond color, gender, etc. I wouldn't be alive if this doctor hadn't helped me and prescribed life-threatening medicines that I need for legitimate illnesses proven by bloodwork and Xrays that other doctors ignored.
