When my previous family physician retired, she referred me to Dr. Zelenska. Leery of the tedious trial and error process that typically goes with finding a new doctor who would best fit my needs, I decided to take her advice first.

When I arrived for my first appointment, I was more than pleasantly surprised. After filling out the insurance and medical history forms, the nurse immediately took me to an exam room where I only had to wait about ten minutes to be seen.

I found Dr. Zelenska to be very kind, empathetic to my needs and extremely intelligent in many areas of medicine. She answered every one of my questions concerning my existing symptoms and conditions in masterly detail. A doctor doesn't receive Board Certified status by just showing up for work and it was obvious with her.

The receptionist and nurse were professional, very personable and actually had a sense of humor. No one really enjoys having to go to any doctor, but I can honestly say that no matter the reason for the visit, I've never left there without a smile on my face.

The reception area and exam rooms were clean and neat and the overall atmosphere was relaxing.

By following my previous doctor's direction, I'm convinced that I have hit the Primary Care Physician "jackpot". Since that very first appointment, over ten years ago, we have made significant progress together and my overall health has improved significantly.

I have three daughters (now over the age of twenty) who have recently moved out of the area, however, they continue to use Dr. Zelenska as their physician. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a new doctor give Dr. Zelenska one appointment and I think you'll be glad you did.

I visited this Dr on 6/8/2017, the office submitted my claim for visit on 6/26/2017, at that point insurance had ended. Therefore, the claim is not going through and keeps getting denied. In addition, she ordered a blood work for me, I got it done the next day. Til this day, they still haven't called me with the results. I've called them 4x already, and the first 3 times I got an excuse that they haven't received the results from the laboratory. The 4th time I called, they've had the result but decided to not inform me. They have a policy that she only reviews the results in-person, not over a phone call. I find it very inconvenient since it's a 5 min conversation to discuss the results. Seems like an insurance scam, since she would get refund from the insurance company and co-pay through me. I will not be going back to this doctor ever again.

After my ailments Dr tested for half and I had to remind her what she forgot. Apparently this Dr. believes that the foot odor from athletes foot is not caused by bacteria when instead it is caused by the fungus. Foot fungi are odorless. Dr submitted first blood draw did not submit my requested levels for testing. Not asked to fast for cholesterol levels w/ 2nd blood test. Said I shouldn't worry because of age. I've had high cholesterol levels; hereditary. Charged 2nd Co-Pay for their mistake. Called me 10 minutes before an appointment to review results. Told them I would be 5 minutes late. Staff said Dr. was leaving, need to reschedule. I requested my lab results,violated my rights for access per Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act. Dr. said she would not release until discussed. Wentin to sign a release document and Dr. was still there. My Experience: Microbiology, HIPAA, Protected Health Information, Laboratory, and Regulatory Affairs.
