Dr. Durrani had a somewhat reserved demeanor. I found him willing to answer my questions and responsive to concerns. As a surgeon, he did and outstanding job treating a serious injury with multiple broken bones. I’m grateful he was available here in Asheboro.

I was referred to Dr Durrhani for chronic hip pain/weakness resulting from auto accident. The first question he asked me was if there was a lawsuit. I informed him yes I was not at fault and as a result have injuries/pain over year that was getting worse and my PT and primary care provider referred me to him. All he did once he found out I had lawsuit was two muscle tests and x ray and said nothing was wrong with my hip or back. I told him I do have diagnosis from neurologist regarding my back pain but I was there for my hip. I asked if he could order MRI, he refused and said insurance wouldn't pay. I told him I didn't care I would pay to find out why my hip was progressing in pain/weakness. He said no, I will only refer you to pain Dr and left the room with no follow up appointment. He never referred me to pain Dr either. He should not be practicing as an orthopedic if he isn't willing to help patients based on lawsuit because I was injured by someone else and left that day feeling very disgusted and depressed. Thankfully I found a second opinion, received an MRI and hip arthroscopy a few months ago after suffering months more and barely able to walk and in severe pain. Thankfully I'm finally on the road to recovery thanks to another orthopedic. I do not recommend Dr Durrhani to anyone after my experience.

I have c8 nerve pain and Durrani gave me a steroid injection in my upper back. He gave the injection in the wrong location after I insisted it was wrong. I have no relief from pain and suffer with th bad effects of the steroid.

Went to Dr. Durrani for neck pain from a car accident. First question he asked was did I have a pending claim. When I said yes he became very rude. Said the disk was not pressing the nerve and did not try to see why I may be having pain. The MRI was a year old and my husband questioned if I needed a new MRI. He said it would not change in a year and my insurance would not pay for it. He was no help.

I broke my wrist after a fall. Dr. Durrani came to the ER and reduced it. However it displaced again in the cast. He went ahead and fixed it with a plate. I did not have any problems with it since then, He is a very cordial physician. Fortunate to have excellent physician like him in a small community like Asheboro.

After two surgeries for my father and mother, I would highly recommend Dr. Durrani!! While not the normal chit-chatty American, he is well mannered, kind and most importantantly competent!! We are blessed to have been under his care.

I like Dr. Durrani very much. He is kind, soft spoken and caring. I ended up having a herniated disk and he administered an epidural which was pain free. I am scheduled for another and have complete confidence in him. If surgery is in my future, I will trust him completely.
