THE PROS: Dr. Bruce understands my medical condition. His treatment recommendations are easy to understand and helpful. He is easy to talk to and easy to listen to. He is personable. I always feel I am getting his full attention and I am never rushed. This is a Doctor I can recommend without reservations.
THE CONS: The office protocol and/or staff needs improvement responding to pharmacy requests for refills

When he was at Mesa Family Medical, my family always had difficulty with the staff confusing appointment times, losing appointments that were earlier confirmed, unable to get paperwork faxed, etc. However, we continued to see Dr. Bruce as we felt he was worth the hassle. So far we have had no problems with Brown Road Family Medicine since he has moved. Dr. Bruce always takes time to answer questions, explain things thoroughly for us and made everyone in my family comfortable. I recommend him to everyone and now have extended family and a handful of friends that all keep him as their PCP.

Hard to contact by phone and have a long wait at times. Dr will not give 1 year Rx's for maintenance drugs. Wants to schedule numerous appointments where he does nothing and write an Rx for another 6 mos. then we repeat the process. He is personable but I think he wants the office visit for the $$'s. He gives me time to talk but I don't feel that he respects my point of view. I have told him he has better things to do with people that really need him....he doesn't change and I feel I have wasted my time. I am not thrilled with him and am considering a change.

Made me feel like I was there seeking pain meds. When in all reality I was there to seek help for my problem I was having. What an insult. I had surgery a while back the doctor gave me a RX for 45 Vicodin still to this day I have 41 left. Made me feel horrible accusing me of something im NOT…….. I WAS THERE FOR HELP NOT TO BE ACCUSED OF SOMETHING IM NOT............

He's good, at times the wait is a bit long. I find him easy to talk with and he is very knowledgeable.

the wait was about half an hour but Dr Bruces manner and knowledge more than made up for the wait. He is very good at talking to his patience and answered all my questions. Was not afraid to fight my insurance to get results.

Had me make another appointment (for medication) for something we discussed previously. during every appointment at some time he says"Hmmmm I don't have that in my notes" But questions were answered well

This MD was always helpful in providing information on the developmental stages of my toddler and was also knowledgeable on the questions I asked. At times the wait in the dr. office is prolonged though

DR. Bruce is very hard to contact, only way to contact him is by setting up an appointment, and paying more money. My insurance is hasling me, once a week, for paperwork they need. DR. David I. Bruce faxed my paperwork to the wrong #. And my insurnace company cannot get ahold of him on the phone either. He has no e-mail address, or no direct extension, so im unable to leave messages for this guy.
